The beach house had everything you could want or need! Great location mid Cape to get to all the attractions, warm and welcoming host, Comfortable, spacious rooms, all the right cooking gear (if you need it). Washer and dryer were handy to have. There even was current travel information and brochures. My son, daughter-in-law and grandsons (3 & 5) were thrilled with everything. Loved that the other residents were so friendly. Thank you so much we loved watching the the ocean and wild life from the porch and inside. Listening to the sound of the waves hitting the beach at night. We had so much fun it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Cottage had everything we needed and created wonderful memories that we never forget. Beautiful walks on the beach daily and right out the front door a walkable neighborhood. We enjoyed shopping, eating fantastic food prepared in the cottage as well as great restaurants close by. My husband, daughters and I vacationed this summer at the end of July. It was truly the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. From the spaciousness of the home, to the amazing location directly on the beach, to the amazing owners, all together meant the best vacation we have had in a very long time. The attention to detail was impeccable and the upkeep of the proprietary is a true testament of the pride and care of the owners. My family and I are looking forward to booking again next year and many years to come. Wow - such a lovely location, lovely home and lovely owners! We arrived later than expected & Bob offered to bring us a quick meal if we needed it. The house was clean and comfortable, and the location couldn't be better. We loved the deck! After a day out sightseeing, shopping, or walking, this was a wonderful & relaxing home to come back to in the evening. The ocean views were perfect, and we even saw a seal poke his head out of the water right in front of the house! We can't recommend it enough! show more show less

My boyfriend and I rented the property over New Year's Eve weekend to enjoy a nice little getaway during the winter! Bob's place was very accommodating for us. The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen equipment making it so easy to cook many different types of meals. The wi-fi was so amazing that I was able to work a couple days while being down there with no issue. The property was also super clean and well maintained. Being right on the water it was a joy to take walks in the evening to enjoy a gorgeous winter sunset. I will definitely be returning to the Cape next winter :) show more show less

We rented Bob's house in July with a few friends. The location could not have been better - right on our own private beach with an expansive deck to hang out on. The floor to ceiling windows in the living room made us feel like we were on the beach even when we were inside! The house was also near restaurants and bars when we wanted to go out in the evening. The house was clean, had a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed, and Bob even left a welcome gift for us! This was the perfect summer getaway, at a great price, and we cannot wait to return next summer! show more show less

My family has been renting this ocean front beach house for over 25 years. It is a very comfortable, relaxing, and homey rental in a location that can't be beat.

The new owners, Bob and Joan, were very welcoming and stopped by to introduce themselves upon our arrival. They were very responsive to any questions, and most importantly, took care of the one issue that came up during our stay immediately.

Some of our favorite things: A wonderful deck for enjoying the outdoors where you can walk down three steps to your private beach.
Central air conditioning is a huge plus, especially on a humid, muggy day where you might want a little break.
Best of all, this house offers a large sunken living room with beautiful views of Nantucket Sound looking east and south.
The neighbors in the area are all very nice and it has been wonderful getting to know them over the years.

That said, whether sipping a coffee in the morning, a glass of wine watching the sunset, or falling asleep to the lull of the ocean waves, a vacation here will continue to be our annual family tradition.

Absolutely perfect location on a private beach! The home is beautiful, and the owners are great to deal with. There are so many restaurants and activities to do within minutes, but the best times were spent just outside the back door. Thank you, Bob and Joan, for sharing your house with us.
