This was our first time spending time on the Cape that was west of Orleans normally we camp at Nickerson. We were a little hesitant to rent as we had never been in Dennisport before but it was perfect for our week away in the fall. (Think it would be awesome for the summer as well.)

This place was amazing, basically just as advertised, super close short stroll to the private beach which we had fabulous sunrises every day we were there. Only differences were some updates to furniture and wall color but still amazingly cute, seaside chic, and comfortable perfect for our family. Beach chairs provided were great for hanging on the beach reading and soaking up the fall sun. Nice outdoor patio set up, table chairs and umbrella, and a grill which although we didn't use, our neighbors used theirs and the steaks smelled amazing!

A couple housekeeping items, things I always like to know when looking at reviews: Shower had great water pressure, kitchen was small but worked really well for our needs and although we brought some cooking utensils with us, years of camping mindset, the kitchen was probably one of the best stocked we ever stayed at with cookware, small appliances, cooking and eating dishes and utensils etc. All the beds were very comfortable and the cottage was sparkling clean when we arrived. I would mention that although the cottage is all one level there is a small step down from the living room to the dining area and steps to get into the cottage from both the kitchen entrance and the front entrance which was no problem for us but if anyone in your family had mobility difficulties that might be an issue. There is a max two vehicle policy on the property, which was made very clear when we first booked the place, so be aware of that if your family is traveling from different places to the Cape. Also it is a cottage located on a colonyesque property so you will have neighbors pretty close to you although we never found it to be an issue, I think because of the time of year not all the cottages were booked there weren't very many families with young kids.

All in all we were so glad that we took a chance on a new place and will definitely return in the future. I almost didn't want to share such a good review as we hope it will be available for us in future but this cottage is a spot we can see ourselves returning to year after year.
