Each side of this separated duplex with no common walls has 3 bedrooms, a full bath, enclosed outdoor shower, well equipped eat-in kitchen, living room with wall mounted 40'' flat screen tv, cable, and high speed wireless internet. Each room has its own mini split air conditioning unit!
Both sides have an oversized deck with a beautiful white picnic bench, Weber gas grill sun loungers, deck chairs and plenty of deck seating !
The Master bedroom and living room have an amazing view of Nantucket Sound! When you wake up, you are directly on the beach, so you can enjoy your morning coffee listening to the soft surf of Nantucket Sound!
A short drive from your cottage you will find many family friendly dining places as well as one of Cape Cod's finest 5 star restaurants. There are many fantastic seafood restaurants where you can get delicious golden fried clams, fish and chips, award winning clam chowder, and of course the best ''Lobstah Roll'' on the Cape.
Also close by are Ice cream parlors (Sundae School is an all time favorite), candy stores, pizza shops, sub shops, cafes, local-fresh seafood markets where you can buy clams, scallops, lobsters or cod, tuna and more, fresh off the boats, and cook it back at your cottage on the beach!
Close by you will find:
Mini golf, batting cages, bumper boats, trampolines, jet ski rental, parasailing, kayaking, and The very fun Inflatable Park!
For both kids and adults do NOT forget to visit the NEW Whydah Pirate Museum, home to thousands of items from the authentic Whydah pirate ship which went down off the coast of Cape Cod in the 1700’s . This amazing museum houses the largest collection of pirate artifacts recovered from a single shipwreck anywhere in the world. It is a great learning experience ,an absolute MUST see on Cape Cod and it’s just a short drive from your cottage !!
For the adults we have many of The Cape's best golf courses, fishing charter boats, sunset cruises, movie theaters, maritime museums, antique shops, consignment shops, boutiques, and jewelry shops where you can get some locally designed Cape Cod Jewelry, large grocery stores, bakeries, laundry mats, and The Cape Cod Mall are all nearby.
Main street Hyannis, a very popular spot to stroll in the late afternoon or evening, is lined with cafes, pubs, restaurants, souvenir shops, art galleries, and cute boutiques. Here you will find the JFK Museum, The Cape Cod Baseball Hall of Fame, and a short stroll brings you to scenic Hyannis Harbor, where you can take a ferry to the islands of Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard (a favorite ''Presidential'' vacation spot!). There are some great tours of Hyannis Harbor just off of Main St Hyannis.
If you Would like to venture out a bit and take a drive to the “North Side “ of Cape Cod you can travel historic route 6A to see some incredible Sea Captains homes dating back to the 1600’s!! There are great restaurants ,shops ,boutiques ,and museums all along this historic route(and less traffic too :) ). Just off of 6A You can take a Whale watch from Barnstable Harbor or enjoy an amazing eco boat tour of the area !
Whatever your preference is for activities during your vacation , this cottage provides easy access to all of the “happenings” on Cape Cod. Or you can just stay “home”, escape from it all and relax on your beautiful soft sandy oceanfront beach !
