This was our third (maybe fourth?) stay at this home and it was just as enjoyable as it's always been. A short drive or moderate walk to Hardings Beach, easy access to town, restaurants and shops, cozy and comfortably furnished. But the deck overlooking Oyster River, and the wide side yard with the same view, is what keeps bringing us back. As much as we love exploring up and down the Cape our family of 4 spends a lot of our time just relaxing on the deck or in chairs out in the yard under the tree: having a drink or a meal, entertaining friends and just enjoying the sights and sounds and FEEL of the Cape. Not the most modern and not the largest getaway you'll find, but every morning and every evening you step outside at this home you'll know why you came to Cape Cod.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time on Jericho Lane during a very hot week in July, The house stayed cool and the shady yard in the afternoon was a plus. The kitchen had all the necessary pots & pans for making dinner, and space for our personal items. The LR/DR was open for game night and space for the little ones to hang out. The family room was comfortable and had great views of the marina and inlet. The deck was great for some messy play with the kids, it was a bit hot to hang out there too much. A quick ride to Hardings Beach, with plenty of parking during the week. Gentle waves and lots of space to play. The bedrooms on the 2nd floor were spacious and comfortable and 2 full bathrooms. No tub but the showers were spacious. 1st floor bedroom was comfortable although a bit tight for 2 adults, but maybe we had too much stuff! Full bath on the 1st floor with laundry. The marina and small beach area were perfect for a little adventure with the grandkids. Lots of crabs and boats to watch. Restaurants and downtown were a short drive away. This is a fantastic place to call home for a week, it was a pleasure!

We had an amazing time at this house! The location is amazing, the house has all the amenities you need, and my kids loved playing down on the private beach. We were very happy here for the week. We definitely hope to be back!

Just lovely. We rented for one week with our two adult children and two grand children ages 2yrs and 3yrs. We did water toys and playdoh on the gated porch and had so much fun enjoying the setting outside. The house was perfect for all of us. No bathtub for the kids but it worked out great because the shower heads pull down...........so fun for them. Thank you Donna and Michael. We had the perfect vacation. Maura

Looking for a comfortable home -- on the water -- for your Chatham vacation? Then look no further! We have been vacationing in Chatham for years and absolutely loved our stay at Mike and Donna’s home this past year. This home has all the New England charm, spacious common areas, a fully equipped kitchen, wonderful deck, beautiful grounds and it’s own beach! It doesn’t get much better than that.
We rented the home for three weeks, entertained family and friends and simply enjoyed every day at this wonderful home. Given the three large bedrooms and three full baths, we had plenty of room when our Connecticut family came to visit and spend the night. The home is located in a beautiful neighborhood that is also just minutes from the restaurants and shops in downtown Chatham. It is fully equipped with everything you need for a restful vacation. We walked daily through the neighborhood, down by Oyster River or to Hardings Beach.
Over the years, we’ve rented many different homes in Chatham and we give this one our highest recommendation and all 5 stars!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at 56 Jericho a few weeks back. The location was perfect for our "get away", with the quiet street and calm setting. The house is just adorable, decorated with just enough period pieces to be quaint but not cluttered. There are beautiful wooden floors throughout the house, and lots and lots of windows letting in both the sunshine and the beautiful views of the water
Having three bathrooms is VERY nice, and makes for a much more pleasant vacation, as opposed to standing in line and waiting your turn!
Finally, the deck and seating outside was the perfect place for hanging out. We had meals, drinks, and long chats outside watching the tide come and go.
Donna was great to work with, and we could not have had a better overall experience.

First of all, Donna and Mike are such a delight! Your house was so perfect for our family’s week vacation. And your helpful tips about restaurants, beaches and bike paths made Chatham feel familiar before we even arrived...New England Pizza House #3 is the best!

I forgot to write this review last summer but with this snowy winter and great warmer memories of Chatham, I’m back on the website and booking this house again for next summer before all the weeks are snatched up.

Having a private beach at our footsteps made morning coffee on the beach while the kids played in a sand a fabulous treat…no need to pack everyone in the car. We could relax and watch the boats head out to Nantucket Sound.

The house was lovely and what we pictured a traditional Cape Cod home to look like…with all the comforts of home. Although we tend to eat out for dinner (it’s vacation!) it was really convenient to have a fully stocked kitchen with every appliance needed.

The beds were so comfortable (queen bed in the master and two twins in each of the other two bedrooms). The twins were perfect for the kids.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this place was so special I couldn’t resist. We can’t wait to head back next summer!

We had the most fabulous time at your lovely house and we loved Chatham. Your house was lovely to be in and we have fallen for Cape Cod.

The house was perfect. The right size, the right layout, very well furnished (especially the kitchen!) We went to the beach every day. We wouldn’t change anything! We will keep your home in mind for future summers!
