We know this cottage is the best as we have tried the rest! We have rented this cottage four times now and have tried other places in between our stays and we always come back. Our days of searching for a place to stay in Chatham are over. We love the fact we park once and can walk to everything we need - food, fun, shopping, beach and more. Chatham has so much to offer you never have to leave town. Margie is an excellent host and always makes sure to touch base with new and returning renters. We are grateful she continues to share this little slice of heaven with us all.

We have been vacationing in Chatham for almost 40 years. This was our 3rd time staying in this cottage. We love the location! You can walk into town to shop and dine. We walked to the Chatham Bars Inn for cocktails before dinner. You are about a mile walk to Lighthouse Beach. The cottage provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. The central a/c is an added bonus!

We had a perfect week at this lovely cottage. Close to everything, within walking distance to most. Highly recommend.

We have been coming to Chatham for 7 straight years now and this was the best location of all of the places we rented. Easily walkable to downtown, oyster pond and across the street from the Anglers' games. The 2BR was quaint but fit our family of 4 just fine and was pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog! Margie was very easy to get a hold of and was responsive to all of our requests and questions. Tho small, the house was well equipped and up to date with comfy beds, outdoor shower and very convenient washer and dryer. We had a great time!

I have been renting on Cape Cod and this cottage was by far the BEST! Cozy and comfy, walk to Fish Pier for scallop dinners, walk to Captain's Table or diner across the street every morning for my mimosa and eggs benedict. Walk to baseball games.
It was listening to church bells, singing birds - it's heavenly. Cottage was perfect, so clean. Can't wait to book this gem again!!

We enjoyed everything about our stay. Here are few highlights:

The location was wonderful. The Chatham shops, Oyster Pond, and the Chatham Bars Inn were easily walkable. Lighthouse Beach was easily accessible by bike.

Everything in the cottage worked well. No bad surprises. Margie's pre trip instructions and tips were extremely helpful and most appreciated.

You can tell that the cottage updates were done with high quality furnishings and materials and with very good taste. The cottage was cute as heck, and we felt very much at home.

My sister and I, along with furry companion, Willoughby, enjoyed a wonderful week in a comfortable and very private setting that was relaxing and restful. You can sit outside and not see anyone, place was very quiet and very secluded. But the very ''special characteristic'' of our lodging, was a brief walk into down town chatham where all sort of fun activities awaited, from shopping and restaurants all within 5 minutes! We even had breakfast walking just across the street from our rental! It's a perfect combination of being away from the hustle and bustle and yet, within minutes, you are in the center of it all, enjoying the streets of chatham. I recommend this rental highly and will return.

Margie was a great host, the cottage was charming and clean when we arrived. The location was perfect for a short walk downtown or to the baseball games. The cottage had many new updates including a new outdoor shower which was great to use after a day on the beach. We have been coming to Chatham for the last 15 years and wouldn't hesitate to rent the cottage again.

We returned to Margie's cottage in 2022 for the second straight year. As wonderful as our stay last year was, it was every bit as good this year - perhaps even a little better as regards the cottage itself. For starters, this year we were allowed to drive right up to the front door, which not only helped with the unloading and loading, but was also just generally more convenient (though the distance between the previous parking space and front door is only about 40 yards). In addition in 2022 there's a new and handsome outdoor shower, new living room furniture, and a new queen mattress. Note: The mattress is very comfortable and fully supported my bad back. But it's also very thick so our fitted sheet would not "fit." We should have brought 2 regular sheets. No big deal.

We dined at all our usual favorite places: Chatham Squires, Impudent Oyster, Del Mar, Brax Landing, Captain's Table, Chatham Fish and Chips (across the street), The Filling Station (also across the street), and one new place for us - Sweet Tomatoes. We got takeout from the latter and it was superb (margherita pizza, meatball parma calzone, and a Cobb salad)! To nibble on we also picked up a bag of chocolate chip cookies and a number of breakfast sandwiches (best around) from the Chatham Village Market. Go early for the breakfast sandwiches; they sell out fast. We also got pastry from Marion's Pie Shop, which is also the best around. . .

We went to the beach everyday. Hardings is our favorite, but we also went to Oyster Pond (small, quiet, less windy, less wavy, walking distance from cottage) and Cockle Cove. At night we went to 3 Chatham Angler baseball games. The field is right across the street, about 200 yards away. Nothing better than Cape Cod League baseball, even for people who are not baseball fans (which my wife isn't). We also took in a couple of movies, one at the Cape Cinema in Dennis and the other downtown at The Orpheum.

Our days always started with a morning walk, which brought us downtown where we had our coffee/tea at a different location everyday. The only thing that went wrong was that on Day 3, after negotiating the keyless cottage entry without any problems for the first two days, we had a problem. The fault was entirely ours (a prolonged senior moment), and when we phoned Margie she was completely helpful and understanding. Like I said, the fault was 100% ours, and Margie's graciousness was a positive and appreciated plus to the whole panicky incident.

All-in-all, our week's stay could not have better to include the sunny weather. Chatham is a great small Cape town, and Margie's cottage is the perfect place to experience it from.

Stayed in this beautiful cottage the first week of June and it was purely relaxing.
The patio outside the French Doors was enjoyed daily.
The cottage was bright and all amenities were taken care of.
We really enjoyed our daily walks to the Fish Pier and downtown close by.
Will love to return again.

We stayed in Margie's adorable cottage for a week and enjoyed ourselves throughout. You know what they say: "Location, Location, Location." This cottage is just a couple of blocks from Main Street, Chatham which is bustling with unique shops and restaurants. The sky-light-lit kitchen and living room area are a bright spot (to say the least). The mattress in the master bath is comparable to none; never had a better night's sleep.

Because Chatham is at the 'elbow' on the Cape, we were able to use it to sightsee in either direction from Falmouth (have LUNCH at La Cucina on Main St., Falmouth. Get the mussels (20) and shrimp over linguini for $18 that will last you three nights!).

The tourist booth in Chatham (manned by Louise) told us of two places that are rarely mentioned to tourists: The Visitors Center in Eastham which shows 5 different movies every 15 minutes, a great museum and has a lovely gift shop (great for kids too) - FREE. The other place is at the Library in Provincetown where a giant ship (replica of 150 years ago) has been built - right in the center of the Library - it's on the second floor. But if you take the elevator to the third floor you can actually look down into the entire hull of the ship. There are also guided sound video for visitors to hear and see the history on a running tape.

Margie prepped us as to many links of interesting and fun places to visit among which were listed exciting tours to be taken such as the Dune Tours in Provincetown. They weren't running yet when we were there so we took a trolley tour instead.

Stay at Margie's charming cottage and you won't be disappointed.

We had a wonderful week in Chatham. We walked everywhere and enjoyed the comforts of the cottage. We loved the openness and light. The kitchen has everything you need to make whatever meals you need. We also walked many places in town, Light House Beach, the labyrinth, the shops, restaurants and more. The bed was very comfortable as was the living room with a great couch and chairs. We felt very much at home. Margie is so helpful with everything, thank you Margie. We plan to return.

We spent a week at Margie's cottage in mid spring and everything was superb. She was very easy to communicate with and very accomodating to our needs. Everything in the cottage was in tip top conditon along with it being superbly clean! The location of the cottage was outstanding with it being a short walk to the main area of the village and many other attractions. The weather she arranged for us was great. We have been coming to the Cape yearly for more years than I care to admit and in the future it will start with booking Margies outstanding cottage!

The minute I walked in the front door, I knew I was going to love this cottage! The owners have done an amazing job of providing everything & more that you need. The location is superb for walking to town. My favorite morning spot was outside, sitting at the patio table, and drinking my coffee. Same with evenings for cocktails!

There are so many shops and restaurants nearby but yet you will feel like you are in your own private oasis. Short car trips will take you to many other wonderful places & beaches. And, the bed!! Best sleeping I've had in ages. Yes, this place is magical! Can I give it 100 stars ??

When my wife and I could no longer book the Chatham property we'd rented for years because the owners took it off the market, we went searching for a new place. Price, of course, was a factor in our search, as was proximity to downtown. Margie's place checked both those boxes well. Could not have been a better fit for us.

Everyday for a week we walked to downtown for a morning bagel and coffee/tea. Many days we walked back down later for an ice cream cone and/or supper. We rode our bikes 5 times, and because the house is centrally located, we could do a bike route that took us through the picturesque side streets, downtown, and along the waterfront. . .

The pictures are a very accurate depiction of what you'll get, i.e. the cottage is charming, handsomely furnished, and had more than enough space for the two of us. . . I have intermittent back problems, but the mattress was supportive and comfortable, and not only did my back not bother me for our week's stay, but I slept like a contented log. My wife actually slept better at Margie's than she does back home. Maybe it was the mattress, maybe the sea air, maybe just the peacefulness and quiet of being in the cottage . . .

Veterans Field is across the street, maybe 200 yards away, and we walked over 3 evenings to watch Chatham Angler baseball games. The Anglers play in the Cape Cod League, and it's a high caliber of baseball that's free, well attended, and enthusiastically supported by the community. It was a pleasure to be able to walk to those games, and to various other points of interest for us. Finding a parking spot in downtown Chatham isn't always easy. . .

We didn't walk to the beach, though the small beach at Oyster Cove is a fairly easy walk. As far as beaches go, we prefer Hardings and Cockle Cove, which are 7-8-9 minutes away by car. We bought a beach pass for the week ($75), which is good at all Chatham town beaches. A one day pass is $20. We used that pass all 7 days, and hence it turned out to be a great bargain. . .

The only problem we had was with the cable and WiFi which were fouling up when we arrived. I contacted Margie, she phoned Comcast (the provider), and I unplugged the modum and router. Then plugged them back in. Comcast hit a reset, and voila! problem was solved. The quality of the cable picture and the internet speed was excellent. . .

Dave, the next door neighbor, is an invaluable source of information, and he's a most entertaining, as well as a very helpful, person. It's a friendly neighborhood. . .

All-in-all, we had a great week, and will certainly consider staying again at Margie's cottage. It was a bit of Chatham paradise for us.

Wonderful place to stay for a week. Unbelievably clean, sunny, quiet and comfortable. Walking distance to town and shuttle to the beach. Would stay there again without hesitation.

We booked this adorable little cottage just to break the monotony of working from home. The location is perfect for those who want to be close to everything. It was a 2 min walk to Main St. shops in Chatham, 3 min to the little cove and beach and right across the street from a delish little spot for breakfast and lunch. Very convenient to Lighthouse Beach and the Pier (~1 mile walks). The cottage itself is filled with great light, has outside seating and every amenity to enable you to enjoy cooking a meal there if you didn't want to avail yourself of the local restaurant offerings. If it had been a little warmer, we surely would have appreciated the outdoor shower as well. The owner was extremely helpful with information and recommendations as we prepared to arrive and we look forward to a return stay!!

We stayed at the Charming Chatham Village Cottage and had a very pleasant stay. The owner Margie communicated via email and phone and her instructions were precise and her recommendations were on point. The cottage fits 4 people comfortably. It has the best washer and dryer I have ever used. I liked its decoration and the whimsical lamps. It was clean and organized. We went to a couple of beaches and walked to the town. A diner for breakfast was across the street. Other restaurants were a short drive away. Margie approved our dog to stay and he also enjoyed himself. Chatham is a beautiful place.

Margie's cottage was ideal for us on every level. The location is simply perfect - a 5 to 10 minute walk to everything. And the amenities in the house are exactly as they seem in the profile. Margie was/is a very attentive owner and extremely thoughtful, making it a pleasure to stay at her house. All of us (myself, wife, daughters and dog) loved the place and look forward to coming back in the future.

We are already looking forward to our next stay at Margie's house! The location is so convenient for walking to town and walking to the beach, we hardly had to use a car during our week here. The house felt very clean; we loved using the kitchen and grill to cook some of our own meals. Can't wait to come back!

My husband, son, and I (and dog!) really enjoyed our stay. The home was well-appointed and spotless. The ability to walk to town was great, and we enjoyed being minutes from the beach and restaurants. Margie was also great to work with.

We have been staying here for the past three summers and can't say enough good things about it! Its in the perfect location to take in the best of Cape Cod in the summers. You can hear the Cape League games from the patio, you are walking distance to Chatham Bars Inn and everything downtown. The cottage is very well kept and has everything you need, a washer dryer, outdoor shower, and cable/internet. Margie is very responsive with any issues that come up and resolves them immediately. We highly recommend this cottage!

We spent two weeks at Margie's cottage. You can tell she strives to please her guests and made the cottage as comfortable as can be. I have food restrictions so being able to cook meals was a huge part of our trip. The kitchen is well equipped and updated to suit all your needs. The bathroom provided shelving for all toiletries, a new vanity and updated shower. Having a washer and dryer is also a huge plus when away for two weeks. My husband, toddler, and I loved being able to walk to town concerts, shops, dining, fish pier, playground, Oyster pond,… Basically all Chatham has to offer! This is why we chose Margie's cottage! I walked several miles every morning along the shore road, staring out at the ocean and embracing Chatham's natural beauty. We didn't sit outside much, but I enjoyed coffee in the morning listening to the birds and soaking up the sun and fresh Cape air. We were very lucky as we had 12 days of sunshine, and only two inclement weather days. Having to stay inside all day may have proved difficult with a small child as the space/TV options are limited. We utilized the town library for play time and rented dozens of DVDs. Margie is always available to communicate. You can tell she strives to make the cottage the best vacation experience for renters. Peter and I both love staying at your Chatham cottage. We have stayed twice now and it is perfect. We did not have a very good weather week but we had a great vacation enjoying Chatham and your cottage. The cottage has a perfect location so you can walk almost everywhere and we did. It is comfortable and has a very well equipped kitchen for whatever you want to cook. We did cook dinner twice and other than that visited all of our favorite Chatham’s excellent restaurants.

Hopefully we will be able to rent this cottage again from you.

My husband and I come to Chatham every year for our Anniversary Week. This is a great house for us. It is very comfortable, and we love the updates that were done especially in the bathroom. We can walk to town to our favorite shops and restaurants. There is even a great breakfast place right across the street from the house! If you want a small beach the pond is very close by. There is everything we want in a house!

Margie’s cottage is the perfect vacation spot in Chatham. It is a short walk to town and very accessible to local beaches. The rooms and appliances are all clean and updated and we recommend it for anyone looking for a Cape vacation. Margie was also responsive to all questions and needs before and during our stay.

We fell in love with the property the moment we saw it online. When we arrived, we were not disappointed. We were thrilled! The cottage is well maintained, very clean and charming. We were close to town, baseball games, etc., but it was very quiet and private. The owners seemed to have anticipated our every need. We have vacationed in Chatham for several years and this is our favorite place to call home for a week

This was our second stay at the cottage and it was perfect. The cottage has everything you will need. The best thing in my opinion is that you can walk everywhere from the cottage. Main Street Chatham is right around the corner. You are steps away from many shops, restaurants, the theater playhouse, baseball games, the park, the pier, churches, the movies, drug store and grocery store. Although, we could have driven, my husband and I took the opportunity to walk everyday. The weather was gorgeous the week of our stay. The cottage is tucked off the street and very quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend staying in Margie and John’s cottage. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed at this lovely Chatham Cottage over the Columbus Day holiday with our two fur babies and loved it!!! It is exactly as the pictures show. We were not sure about how it would be, but we loved how it was set back from the road and how quiet it was. It is so centrally located, and we were able to walk into the village and walk to the Chatham Fish Pier. Loved seeing the seals so close up!!!!! Margie was very accommodating, and you can tell that she loves her cottage as it is very well taken care of. We are hoping to come back again next Fall.

We enjoyed our stay at your cottage very much. It had everything we needed. We have been coming to Cape Cod for many years, but this was our first time staying in the town of Chatham itself.

My sister and I spent one week in this charming cottage! I have to say that "what you see on the website of WNAV is exactly what you get"... and more. Very cosy and comfortable cottage. Everything was perfect... very close to the center, the pier, and Chatham Light Beach. As the house is a bit away from the road, it is very quiet and we can hear each day the beautiful song of the bells coming from the churches around... very charming. Also, one day, we got the chance to see two rabbits in the driveway eating grass... so cute! We really loved that place. And I didn't even talk about all the places to visit! Don't miss the Monomoy excursion to see seals! It is a very unique experience!

Finally, Margie is so professional, always available for responding promptly to all your questions! "Gros mercis" for all Margie! If we go back to Chatham one day, you will certainly be our first choice!

My family of four and our dog could not have had a better time at this wonderful cottage just a very short walk to downtown Chatham. Walking to dinner, Cape Cod baseball games directly across the street, short walk to the bike shop, beaches, Chatham pier, and a short drive to other beaches and kayaking. The home was well supplied with all the essentials. Margie was a wonderful owner and gave multiple tips prior to our arrival. She was professional yet "folksy" and you truly felt like an honored visitor. The cottage is on a busy road, yet with the driveway and the shell path to the cottage, the home is quiet and secluded. A great time!

Ideal cottage experience if you value immaculate accommodations and like the all the conveniences of home. Owner provides all your day to day necessities which are crystal clean as advertised. Walk to town is also super close. This pretty cottage has very updated amenities with uncommon tasteful décor. A bonus is the owner's responsiveness and sincere desire for you to enjoy your visit. You can see the pride that the owner takes in caring for this property.

We had a wonderful time during our stay in Chatham. The location was absolutely perfect for us. Easy walk to great restaurants and cafes but just far enough away from the main road that it was very peaceful. We also spent a few evenings catching an A's game just across the street. It's centrally located on the Cape so it's an easy drive anywhere if you want to check out another town on a rainy day (unfortunately we had a lot of those!).

The house was spotless when we arrived, and the kitchen and bathroom were very updated. We brought along our dog, and he was very comfortable at the house. All of the streets around have sidewalks so we were easily able to get in our morning and evening walks. During our stay we had an issue with the internet and we let Margie know and it was immediately fixed, which we greatly appreciated. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Margie - we very much enjoyed our stay in your beautiful, clean, centrally-located cottage. The kitchen was so well organized and up-to-date that we were prepared for all culinary adventures. Although it was September, the very efficient air-conditioning was much appreciated. Our Maine Coon cat was delighted with all the chipmunk observing opportunities. We hope to visit again next year. So convenient only one block removed from Main Street, but so quiet.

We couldn't have asked for a nicer week at the Cape and I thank Margie, the wonderful owner. The house was perfect and well equipped with just about everything you need to be very comfortable - the kitchen put mine to shame! - and the location is excellent. A 10 minute walk brings you to beautiful and charming downtown Chatham with all its cute shops and delicious seafood restaurants - not to mention Chatham Candy Manor! We were especially grateful to Margie for letting us bring our two dogs, who had a fabulous time and didn't want to go home! We'll be back.

This was our third consecutive year staying at the cottage. It's perfect for our family of four and our dog Zoey. We love its central location (walking distance to town, the park, baseball field, children's beach and the bike trail) and its tranquil setting. The cottage is very charming and always meticulously clean. Margie is also terrific and she genuinely wants her tenants to feel at home and love the cottage as much she does!!! We are already planning our trip for next year!!!

This was our 7th or 8th time at the cottage - I've lost track! Nonetheless the repeat customer aspect is a sign of how much we enjoy the cottage. The location can't be beat....secluded yet steps from town! We love walking, eating and more seasonably beach going near the cottage. It is well maintained. Margie is very responsive and it's an overall smooth rental process - we highly recommend!

Our family of 3 (2 adults and a toddler) enjoyed our stay at this cottage in August 2015. The interior is warm and inviting - with a well stocked kitchen, central a/c and an open airy feeling - and the close to town location was perfect. We spent our days walking to Lighthouse Beach, Oyster Pond (perfect for younger kids) and walking into town for dinner, bandstand concerts and just to stretch our legs. The owner was friendly, professional and responsive. Would definitely recommend this rental!

Our stay here was great! The cottage was the perfect size for the 2 of us and our boxer Cruiser. The location was awesome, as we walked to almost everything we did all week. Clean and simple with all the amenities of home. This was a special week for us as we also got engaged. The cottage was a great retreat after long beach days of celebrating. We will surely be back soon!

We absolutely loved this beautiful little cottage, and had the most pleasant, peaceful week there. Just sitting in the living room in the evenings and watching the clouds through the skylights was heaven! We were perfectly happy & comfortable. The cottage has everything you could ever need for a week's stay. The location was ideal as well. We felt like we were so lucky to have found it.

The cottage was very clean, well stocked, well furnished, and nicely appointed. A very comfortable stay. And the location was ideal. A short walk to the beach; an even shorter walk to downtown. And the Cape Baseball league was playing in the field right up the street. We would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy Chatham.

This adorable cottage is a little gem not far from Chatham center. The owners are very accommodating and have put a lot of care into making their vacation home comfortable for travelers to the Cape. We would return for another vacation.

What a charming Irish Cottage within walking distance to everything in Chatham. We had a wonderful time driving to all different towns on the Cape as this was a perfect starting point. The cottage has all the conveniences of home and we can't wait to return. Perfect!

This cottage was perfect for a relaxing week at the Cape - walk to town, walk to fish pier and see the seals, beds comfortable, house immaculate, outdoor shower was huge! Every convenience needed was included with the house, and good thing there was so much within walking distance as the freshly made donuts across the street called us every morning with their cinnamon siren song...
would not hesitate to recommend.

This 2 bedroom cottage was wonderful. Very private location with all the amenities. The location could not be better. Wonderful cafe across the street serves breakfast and lunch. Bicycle shop diagonally across. Bike trail just down the street. Easy walk to Main Street where all the restaurants and shops are.

What a wonderful cottage this was. My family (mum, dad and 4 year old daughter) spent two glorious weeks in Chatham, and we loved every day. Yes, we travelled about a bit but also spent many days just in and around Chatham. The cottage is really lovely, clean, tidy, and with everything you need! The kitchen is very well stocked with all that you need and hot water all day every day!! Great washing machine and dryer as well. We spent two weeks in early May this year and the weather was fantastic. Not hot, but warm and not so many tourists. I would recommend the cottage to anyone. We will likely return! This was our first visit to Cape Cod. Margie gave us great suggestions on places to eat, beaches to visit and things to do in Chatham and Cape Cod. The cottage was very clean and cozy. Everything you need to have a wonderful vacation. The location was the best. Restaurants and stores are within walking distance, but on a quiet street. When visiting Chatham again, we will definitely stay here!

My husband and I (and our sweet Golden Retriever) loved this cottage! It's super cute and cozy. We liked that it was set back from the road and had some privacy. It's in a great location - within walking distance to downtown. We would definitely contact Margie in the future if we decide to come back to vacation in Chatham! I cannot express how amazing this little gem of a cottage is! The pictures do not do it justice! Every amenity needed was provided, from towels, to sheets, to dish washing liquid and laundry detergent! And a lobster pot! The place is immaculately clean, and the location was amazing! right around the corner is Main Street which we enjoyed strolling along almost nightly where we would stop for ice cream with our toddler. Across the street is a great children’s playground/park, and down the street from that the Chatham Bakery which we fell in love with! Short drive to the beaches and everything else for that matter! What a great intro to Cape Cod! And Margie is the best! Answered all questions and even had a welcome call with us a couple days before our trip to walk us through the house and tips for a wonderful trip! We already booked for next year and plan to make this an annual family trip!

We had a lovely stay at your cottage! It is very clean and just the right size. We walked right into town, and enjoyed the shops and restaurants!

We spent two fabulous weeks at this place in Chatham and it really was perfect. The place is exactly as the pictures show, very cute, very clean, everything updated and modern and well planned out. There were two of us and our dog and although it looks small, it does not feel it at all with the skylights throughout the place. And you can't beat the location. It's a short walk to the beach in town or a longer walk to Lighthouse Beach, which is my fave. We went to the Chatham Squire for dinner twice, great food, good family restaurant, the lobster ravioli was delish. I also loved the Red Nun bar and grill by the baseball field. Great sports bar with really good food and a great spot for watching any game, they have a ton of big screen tvs and an outdoor patio. Oh, and the town's baseball diamond is right across the street from the rental and the games were packed every night.

As for staying in Chatham, I would definitely stay at this cottage again and recommend it to anyone. It was very dog friendly, as are the owners but the town of Chatham is not so dog friendly. And the ticks were terrible this year so beware, we took off at least one tick a day from the dog. We did manage to find a dog friendly beach that we could drive to that was a few miles away, maybe 7 miles away, called Jackknife Beach and went each morning where the dog could run off leash.

All in all, a big thumbs up for this rental, it was the best part of the holiday. We checked out a lot of rentals while we were there in town and we really did pick the best one. Thank you, Margie!

I stayed in this cottage for a week in May - totally enjoyed it. It is a wonderful, bright, comfortable, and clean space. Has all the amenities you could wish for. A short walk into town, to the beach, etc. Could not have picked a better spot. Quiet - many sounds of nature, great spot for sitting outside - reading, eating, relaxing. I look forward to returning!

Chatham, Cape Cod has had a special place in my heart since I was a young teenager and came there for the first time. This spring I needed to get away to a place for respite, and Chatham immediately came to mind. I was unbelievably lucky to find "The Cottage" and to stay there for three weeks. I wanted a place that was within walking distance to town, and a place that would "hug me." The cottage was incredibly clean, comfortable (even with a Tempurpedic bed!), fully equipped, and I even had new furniture delivered while there! The coziness and the "tucked away" aspect of the cottage was just perfect. I would stay there again without hesitation. It was such a pleasure to rent from Margie and John who are so personable. It isn't just a business with them, as it is with so many owners, they truly want you to feel at home!! Enjoy your stay half as much as I did, and you will love it!

We stayed here in June 2011 and had a wonderful time! The weather was quite cool and rainy for a few days which made me even more grateful to have chosen this cute cottage because we did not mind at all hanging out there and cooking in the well equipped kitchen and reading lots of books in the cozy living room. The location is perfect, just a few steps from Chatham Main St and the shops and cafes, the bike rental place across the road and also very close to the beach and the lighthouse. Despite the central location it was very private and quiet. The decor is modern and tasteful and the house bright and airy. Loved the skylights and the spacious bathroom with the washer/dryer. If you are looking for a reasonably priced charming cottage in a great location, this is it!

We stayed in this lovely cottage last September. At first we thought that the off season pricing was a little high. However, after staying there we realized You get what you pay for! This cottage far exceeded our expectations! Unlike past rental experiences the online pictures and descriptions for this rental were accurate. The cottage was clean, cozy and well maintained.
