Nautical Retreat is a beautiful, well-furnished and amazingly maintained rental in Chatham. It is well off busy roads and yet convenient to beaches, shops and restaurants. The whole first floor has gleaming hardwood floors. The primary first floor bedroom is spacious with great windows. The queen bedrooms upstairs are surprisingly large and nicely furnished and the twin bedroom made my granddaughters very happy. Important to note, there are 2 full baths, a fact that was very important to us as 4 adults and 2 kids.
The outdoor space was a huge draw for us. While there is a firepit and a grill for the adults, the kids LOVED playing in the large, fenced in backyard. And the outdoor shower blew their minds!
The ground floor is pretty open, with clear sight lines and open entry to all the ground floor rooms. On a practical note, the kitchen is surprisingly large, with generous counter space, full-size appliances and a dishwasher. (There is also a good, clean washer and dryer in the house.) And there is central air (and no one who has been in a rental in the heat of summer without A/C would minimize just how wonderful that is).
We had a wonderful vacation, there was lots of info provided by the owner about places to go, activities to do and tips on great places to buy or order food. Really, it is as close to perfect as you can get.
