“Seaclusion” Beach Cottage

A spacious house for a family of 5 allows everyone to have their own room. Great location to beaches and town. Outdoor deck and shower are great amenities to have. Outdoor Fire pit and surrounding Adirondack chairs are great for family time.

I had the pleasure of renting Amy's "Seaclusion" beach cottage for a week at the end of July, and my stay could not have been more perfect. The house is beautifully decorated in beachy tones (and with A/C!) and stocked with everything you could possibly need for that home away from home. Just a mile from Hardings Beach and the Chatham town landing for boat/kayak launch. While it is not a walkable mile, it was incredibly easy to get to; I found myself there several days a week at all times of day. Hardings beach is great with plenty of parking (get a permit), not overly crowded and literally a 3-4 minute drive. I launched my inflatable kayak from the town landing and paddled around Oyster River estuary and Oyster Pond. I was lucky enough to have different guests throughout my stay (I informed Amy of that before my guests arrived). My husband was there for a couple of days, I was alone for a couple of days and hosted a girls weekend for the end of the week. For each experience the house was perfectly appointed. Plenty of space for the hubby to work while I was galavanting around Chatham, I felt safe and relaxed during my time alone, and the girls had plenty of space to hang out and be entertained, as well as having plenty of privacy. Amy was a wonderful hostess. She left a detailed book chock full of information of where to eat, what to see and how to help take care of her beautiful home. Her recommendations were spot-on-especially Dogfish Taco and Cantina!! I can't wait to rent the house again next year.

This home has it all! This home is located in an adorable neighborhood. It's the last home on a cul-de-sac at the end and so it's quiet and so peaceful. This home is your home away from home.

Central A/C downstairs is strong and cold and the 2 window ones upstairs work and are quiet. Everything you need is in the kitchen - and the bedrooms and the beds are super comfy. Our favorite part of the house is the basement and backyard. Basement has a sectional/tv/ and ping pong! Every night we ended up downstairs!

Outside has an incredible safe fire pit and also an incredible deck with an outside table with several seats.

Run don't walk to this rental. Amy the owner is warm and friendly and I was able to contact her with any questions. show more show less
