Relax in our charming cottage with its spectacular views and ideal location. Great for families, young adults and older couples.
It’s a half-mile walk, or two minute drive, to family-friendly Hardings Beach, and a scenic, 10-minute stroll to nearby Buck's Creek, where you can paddle board or kayak from the neighborhood dock. The Cape Cod bike trail is a mile away.
You’re a quick ten minute drive to downtown Chatham, one of the most vibrant dining and shopping areas on Cape Cod.
An open floor plan and many large windows gives the cottage plenty of sun and marsh breezes during the day. Mini-split air conditioners in the two main bedrooms and the living room, along with an air-conditioning unit in the loft allows for cool nights.
The master bedroom, with a queen bed, has its own bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom, with two twin beds, has an adjacent bathroom with a shower and tub.
The loft, which looks onto the living room, has a queen bed, dresser and closet. The adjacent room has a twin bed and a table. Note that the loft is open, although the room with the queen bed does have a privacy screen. The loft is probably best for teens and young adults.
Bed linens, bath towels, and beach towels are included with your rental. Beach chairs, umbrella, a beach wagon, coolers and kids toys also available.
The kitchen has plenty of space, spices and equipment to cook, along with a large dining table. It also has a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The living room has comfortable seating, a TV, and upgraded fast wireless internet with a mesh router to allow for streaming shows and movies. Netflix, HBO Max, Showtime, Hulu, and Prime Video are available.
The two decks overlook a scenic marsh, where you can spot deer and a wide variety of birds, including hawks and owls. The upper deck has seating for morning coffee and nighttime star gazing. The lower deck has a grill and additional seating. An enclosed patio has plenty of storage space for bikes, boards and beach gear. There's a large back yard where kids can play, and a cozy fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs.
The cottage is a bit quirky in layout and design, and not super-modern. But it is clean, airy and comfortable. If your idea of a great vacation is being able to kick back, relax and enjoy beautiful views, long walks, good food and the beach, then this is the place for you.
