Waterfront home in Chatham with spectacular views

My family has been vacationing in Chatham for over 30 years, this was our best rental so far! The house is beautiful (we love the rustic Cape Cod feel), clean, great amenities, perfect location and the views are breathtaking!

My family and I truly enjoyed our week at this Chatham rental. The house is big and functional, with two spacious updated bathrooms, a well-stocked kitchen, two separate outdoor spaces with one overlooking the Oyster River and bay, and lots of rooms for bigger parties. The location could not be more convenient, tucked away in a secluded driveway but close to everything you'd want in a summer vacation, we walked or drove to the beach every day and enjoyed downtown Chatham in the evenings. We were blessed with a cooler week and did not feel the lack of AC was a problem, but could not speak for hotter or muggier weather. It is also easy to drive to other Cape Cod towns / beaches. The owners are incredibly kind and responsive, and we got so many recommendations from them. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to spend a week on the Cape! show more show less

What a cool place to stay! We loved the quiet, private home location with the most stunning view from the patio. We loved being walking distance to Chatham Shellfish oyster shacks (and a nice crabbing spot for kids). We loved being close to Hardings and Ridgevale beach (we do recommend the week long parking pass). We enjoyed Hawaiian shaved ice at Chillers nearly every day. We even walked from the house one day. In terms of the house, I did find that while the ocean breezes outside were great, it was simply too hot inside the house without air conditioning. I can see this being the perfect house for one of those not quite fall weeks where the nights are less warm and humid. The last week of August was riddled with high humidity temps and it was just damp at night. Air conditioning is of course, a personal preference, so do with this information what you will. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the modern, updated bathrooms. We cooked every day in the kitchen too, but don't forget oils and spices. Wonderful hosts too, just a super nice family to rent from.

It is a fabulous home. Though not fancy, it was clean and well equipped. It suited our needs perfectly as we had young children and spent most of our time at the nearby beach. The path to a small marina is especially fun for kids and a nice walk. And the view from the patio is breathtaking. We spent hours just sitting and enjoying the view of the river and the changing water.

We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful house with amazing views over the waters, boats and a small harbor. A little path leads right to small harbor where you can rent boats and just stroll around a bit. Also, Harding beach is in walking distance. The house is in a dead-end street and the neuighborhood equally beautiful and quiet. The house was clean and cozy, everything essential, especially in the kitchen, was there. Wifi was working great. The owner was very friendly and communication was never a problem. We enjoyed our stay a lot and will definitely come back as soon as possible. show more show less

Our family has been coming here for 10 years and will keep coming back! While Chatham is a wonderful destination - it's this home's relaxing feel and stunning views of the Oyster River and Nantucket Sound that keep us coming back. The house itself is very comfortable with plenty of space and the family that owns it has always been wonderful to rent from. If you're lucky enough to find an open slot on the rental schedule you'll love your stay here and will always remember the spectacular views!

We have been renting this home for years and it is jewel! It's a traditional Cape house with wonderful views of Oyster River and Nantucket Sound. We enjoy the fresh air and sea breezes and the access it has to the river. We love walking to the Chatham Shellfish Company to pick up oysters and littleneck clams. The house has five bedrooms which gives you plenty of space to enjoy with family. It's close to Hardings Beach and to the shops at the top of Barnhill Road. The owners are very responsive and any issues we have had have always been addressed quickly. show more show less

My family had a fantastic stay at this property. The view was stunning as expected. The house had everything we needed, and we easily ordered linens from a local service. The beach was about 1 mile away. We opted to buy a weeklong pass to Harding's beach so could be there in just a few minutes.

We appreciated the homeowners quick response to two questions we had during our stay and loved discovering new restaurants in West Chatham that we could walk to. We hope to return another summer! show more show less

We have been coming to Cape Cod for many years and we've never enjoyed a home as much as this one. We return every year for the best week of our summer! Our family of eight loves the views that are seen from almost every window and the patio that overlooks the water and the boats. We love the privacy of the little lane that leads to the house.

The beach is close by and all the charm offered by the town of Chatham is just a few minutes away.

Not only are the views amazing but the owner is very attentive to make your stay here very enjoyable. Home is close to all what the Cape has to offer especially sitting outside watching the sunset over the river! My family and I have so many fond memories of our vacations here and yours will too!
