    Peaceful Waterfront Getaway

    What a lovely, sun-filled house on a quiet street. We went in the fall and had a lucky bout of warmth. The ground floor offers a master bedroom with an en suite and sliders out to a lower deck, as well as laundry, another full bath, and two bedrooms each with two twins. One of those bedrooms also slides out to the lower deck. Make your way upstairs to a bright sun-drenched seaside living area with a huge deck overlooking the water. We spent lots of time enjoying the peaceful quiet, lounging on the deck. There's a half bath upstairs too and a well equipped kitchen. It was quiet and lovely and would definitely recommend for a family. It's also a short drive or a leisurely walk to a beautiful beach. There's are kayaks and an outdoor shower and lots to do, plus a very quick ride to downtown Chatham. Highly recommend, and the owner was super responsive and great to work with.     Great vacation rental, fully outfitted with everything you need to enjoy a great week on the Cape. Easy walk to the ocean, great view of the Oyster River, and short drive to Downtown Chatham. Can't wait to go back!

    Great house and amazing views!

    We loved our stay at the Boat House on Oyster River! We try to get down to Chatham once a year and this was our first time staying in this area near Hardings Beach. We walked to the beach once but found it easier to make the very short drive so that we could transport all of our beach stuff.... which was generously supplied by the house owners. There are nice beach chairs and a beach umbrella among other things available in the basement.

    The house has spacious and well appointed decks on both levels with gorgeous views of Oyster River. Even from inside you can enjoy the expansive views. We loved the layout. Three bedrooms on the first floor with two full bathrooms and washer & dryer. On the top floor is the living room, dining room, and kitchen in an open layout.

    It's clean and light and airy. There is a half bath on the top floor as well. There are brand new appliances and a new grill on the deck. We loved sitting out on the deck and watching the boats and birds.

    Denise was a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend and look forward to staying at the Boat House again.     show more show less
