Loved our stay on Sea Mist. The proximity to the beach does not disappoint, but also loved the deck with large table for dining outside, full kitchen, grill, comfortable beds, outdoor shower, and the cool loft with private deck and amazing views made this house very appealing.

The proximity to the bike path and Marion's Pie Shop for fresh cinnamon buns and muffins was a huge perk. Tough to leave but we'd love to return!

I cannot say enough great things about this rental! We were looking for a place near the beach to work from home in the middle of the pandemic and this place delivered. We were literally steps, and I can not emphasize this enough, from the beach. That meant lunch breaks were spent taking strolls on the beach and evening were spent taking in the view from the incredible decks. The kitchen was decked out with every appliance we could need (coffee makers, blenders, toasters) and there were a ton of extra blankets for those cooler fall nights.

The outdoor shower and beach chairs were also great! Downtown Chatham was a quick drive, or easy bike ride, and had some great spots! So many great restaurants and cafes nearby! Equally charming was the neighborhood. When we first pulled into the neighborhood, there were a number of families walking, biking and just generally enjoying the fall weather. The bike trail is just two blocks away from the entrance of the neighborhood. The queen loft was great and the two bedrooms downstairs were perfect for our needs. We never had any trouble with working 9-5 on the wifi, even with near constant video calls, and the TV got all of the stations we needed.

We were initially a little worried that things would be too closed down during the "off season," but our fears were unfounded. Everything was great and we would love to come back to stay again soon! show more show less

We had a wonderful time at this house. It was so nice to be able to walk to the little beach down the hill, plus it was an easy 1-mile ride to the bike trail. Dining room table was a great size for takeout seafood and games with teenagers & grandparents. Enjoyed the breeze on the decks, especially had fun looking at the stars from the top deck a few nights.

We had a lovely stay during a nice, quiet week in June. We had perfect weather all week. We sat on the deck overlooking the Sound every morning for breakfast and almost every evening for dinner. Our 3 (almost 4!) year old twins had a fantastic time. Every morning they would request to walk down to the beach to collect shells. The (easy!!) walk is all of a 150 or so yards away. The beach is a very quiet, peaceful beach.

The cottage is nicely updated. Air conditioning works well. The 2 decks were perfect for relaxing on. We loved the upper deck for a sweeping view of the beach. The location is very convenient to pretty much everything. There are many great restaurants nearby. Dave was super helpful and extremely responsive with my many, many questions :) The owners clearly care for the cottage and its maintenance. If you're looking for a quiet place where you can fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the ocean, this is your vacation home. The two private decks really make this house, though the inside is roomy and immaculate. The kitchen is highly functional and well equipped, and there is an ample dining space if the weather doesn't allow for deck dining. The outdoor shower is also a huge plus. The house is easy to get to, in a great location, and one can walk down to the beach area and watch the tide come in. It's also close to a number of great restaurants, as well as farmers markets and an organic grocery store. The owners are helpful and easy to communicate with, and clearly take care of their house. What a wonderful vacation rental with all the comforts of home! Plenty of space and beautiful views. Homeowner was a pleasure to work with - very responsive to emails/phone calls.

Such a great space, had everything we needed! Near beach, restaurants and activities...yet a quiet getaway. Outdoor spaces at the house are outstanding, with added bonus of great view(s). Flexible for any size group: During our week started out as just a couple, as week progressed were joined by family with kids. All were comfortable and happy. (Raved so much about the place, my sister booked same space for her family.) Can't wait to return.

First, let me say that the owners of this rental are just wonderful! The house is so close to the beach it made our vacation stress-less in terms of getting to and from with grandchildren. The neighborhood is great too; great for biking and walking. The views from either deck on the house are fabulous and makes for even more opportunity to relax or gather with family; and with wireless internet anyone that has to work will still feel like they are still on vacation. If you stay here be sure to try the Box Office Cafe across from the end of Pleasant Street, they have great coffee, muffins, sandwiches, pizza and they rent movies too! Also, just down the road in Harwich is a restaurant called Ember and the Pizza cannot be beat if you like thin crust, it's worth a ride to eat in or take out! Happy Vacationing! show more show less
