Classic Cape Cottage near Hardings Beach

We are a family of 5 with (3) teenage boys and have loved coming to the Cape for many years. We rented our home many years ago when we first purchased it and our kids were very young. As our kids have grown they have spent every summer in Chatham enjoying the neighborhood, the beaches and the views overlooking the Marsh . Recently we purchased another home in Chatham in the same neighborhood because we love the area so much and will be renting our original home again . We will miss the tremendous views and the open feel of the home in the summer but we need just a little more room. We know our guests will enjoy our home in the coming years as much as we have over the past 15 years .

What is special about this property?
The views captured us the first time we walked into our home, as there is a lot of glass on the back of the home, which helps to capture the expansive marsh views, which change with each season. Perching on the top deck to watch the sunset glow across the marsh is one of our favorite things to do! The neighborhood is a great asset, as our kids learned to bike and scooter in Harding's Hills, as they grew up in the city. They love going down to the community dock to crab and fish.

What is special about your town?
Chatham is such a cute town and offers so many things for residents and visitors. Growing up vacationing in Chatham for a few weeks each Summer, my favorites were Friday night band stand concerts, Chatham Candy Manor, crabbing at Ridgevale and Cockle Cove Beaches, heading over to School House Pond for a fresh water swim (great for the littles, as there are no waves!), eating ice cream at ''Short N Sweet'' Old School house, hiking down the back path to the Harding's Beach Lighthouse, fishing off the jetty, visiting the Chatham Fish Pier to watch the daily catch come in, and the list goes on...
