Spectacular panoramic ocean views of Nantucket Sound from this home!

You will truly enjoy this two-level home with amazing views of the Centerville River and Nantucket Sound. This charming Cape Cod home has knotty pine throughout. You enter the home through the street side deck, which is great for a morning coffee or an evening nightcap. Once inside, there is a large living room with views of the Centerville River. The living room is the primary indoor gathering space where there is a large table for meals or playing games. There is a TV and DVD player for movies after a day at the beach.

The kitchen is adjacent to this room and has side by side refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster and Keurig. Off the kitchen, there is a den with a full-size futon and another TV where kids can hook up their gaming system. Walk through the kitchen into the formal dining room and enjoy dinner looking out at the ocean. The dining room leads to a sun porch, which is a meant to be a quiet space for reading, playing cards or just sitting and looking at the ocean. Next to the sun porch there is a small bedroom with a twin bed with ocean and river views. There is a bathroom with a tub on the first floor.

The second floor has three bedrooms with beautiful water views. Bedroom number one has a king bed overlooking the ocean. Bedroom number two also has a king bedroom with an ocean view. Bedroom number three has three twin beds. You can look forward to hearing the waves roll in as you drift off to sleep and waking up and seeing the sparkling water before starting a day at the beach. There is a full bath with a shower/tub on this level.

Back on the first floor, as you exit the home through the sun porch, you step onto a sprawling lawn, which is great for yard games. Moving towards the beach there is a patio that is sure to be where you spend a lot of time. There is a large farmers table which is great for having dinner on a beautiful summer night. There is a propane grill available too. The patio becomes an outdoor living room on warm, summer nights.

There is a sundeck that separates the lawn from the beach. The sun deck is another great place to start or finish the day. Once you step off the deck you are on the “upper beach” area with pristine sand. This is a great place to enjoy the sun if it’s a windy day or when it’s time to retreat as the sun goes down but you aren’t ready for the day to end.

Off the “upper beach” there is a 50’ path that leads you to the beach and ocean with soft sand and crystal blue water. This is where you will spend most of your time sunning, swimming and enjoying the best of what Cape Cod has to offer. There are many shells and other treasures to collect and take home as souvenirs of a memorable vacation.

The house is located close to several quaint villages which offer shopping and dining. It is only a half mile, which is an easy walk to Centerville Village with a playground, the 1856 Country Store and Four Seas Ice Cream. Downtown Hyannis and the Hyannis waterfront are four miles away as well as the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Osterville is close by as well with local shops, restaurants and ice cream shops. You can catch a Cod Baseball League game at one of the nearby fields to see future major league players or play golf at one of the local public courses.
