Updated kitchen with new refrigerator, dishwasher and stove/oven. Brand new bathroom with washer/dryer. Outdoor enclosed shower as well as separate foot washing shower head. TV and internet provided. Patio with table and chairs, bench and side table, umbrella and gas grill.

Cross Rte 6A for easy access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Easy walk to Cumberland Farms, Brewster Book Store, The Kitchen Cafe, Snowy Owl, JTs and more.

    Wonderful house and location

    We had a delightful stay in this beautiful and well-kept home. The beach is just a 3 or 4 minute walk down the private road and is perfect. Soft sand and the amazing Brewster Flats. There are benches at the top of the beach for watching the sunset and it's worth seeing. Spectacular colors. We walked to the Kitchen Cafe and JTs a few times and Cumberland Farms is a close walk too. It's close to the Rail Trail. The house itself is light and airy with cheerful, beachy colors. There is a nice patio in the back with grill, tables, chairs, hammock, umbrellas, etc. Owner was so easy to deal with and very responsive. We can't wait to return! show more show less

    My wife and i stayed with our two daughters for a week 2022. The home was immaculate and is has been remodeled recently it appears. Everything worked well at the home. The beach is a short walk (3 minutes) and it is a beautiful beach with warm shallow water and nice sandy beach. Gorgeous sunsets as the beach looks west. The owners, we met both Jenn and Joe, are both extremely responsive and kind people. Probably the best owners we have encountered so far after renting on and off for 30 years.     A top-notch Cape experience

    This past week was our second stay at this property -- and we'll be back again next summer! From the owners to the property to the neighborhood to Brewster as a whole...this is a top notch Cape Cod experience!

    The details:

    The owners (Jennipher, who is the primary contact, and her husband Joe) are just lovely people who are welcoming, responsive, and friendly. My daughter has special needs and somehow I mentioned so during one of the pre-check-in emails with Jennipher. Well, she had a special book on display for my daughter in her room! It was such a great way to start our vacation, and my wife and I greatly appreciated it. 

    This is just one example of how Jennipher is detail-oriented, thoughtful, and generous. There are more practical examples of this coming through. The house has all the little details that make a difference in your experience. Things like having new a/c, a full grilling set for the gas grill, having multiple umbrellas for the great back patio/yard area open, having both white and red wine glasses, fully renovated interior including the bathroom...and so on...the full list would be very long!

    The interior of the house was renovated last year and they did a pitch perfect job. It's a level above in terms of its comfort and design (it has a great summer/ocean/beach feel and design to it). 

    I've gone on and on already, and I haven't even mentioned the location yet. That is literally our favorite part of this property!

    The house is so close to the beach, the rail trail, and other spots like Nickerson State Park, and Brewster's main drag. Most importantly, it's a short ~4 minute walk -- we have two kids < 5 years old, which perhaps slows us down a bit...maybe it's closer than that! The beach/Brewster Flats are well celebrated and rightly so for people with kids. 

    The big benefit related to the beach is that Jennipher's house is in a private association which provides access to a beach that only a small number of homes in the community have. So it's super close, and there's no paying for parking, no rushing to the beach to get a good spot, and most importantly no crowded beaches. A huge benefit that can't be overstated when you have younger kids. 

    Brewster is amazing too, but I think I've gone way past the normal/acceptable length of a review. It's difficult to fall more in love with a new-to-us town on the Cape than we have with Brewster. My wife and I live in the Boston area and I've been visiting the Cape since I was a kiddo (staying in Eastham and Falmouth, mostly) so we know the Cape well. This was our second stay in this house after visiting in October 2020 and we were impressed with Brewster during that "shoulder season" visit. But our appreciation for it just blossomed with our August visit...the farm stands, Nickerson State Park, the Cape Cod Rail Trail, shops, restaurants, proximity to neighboring towns and attractions...Brewster has it all and this house is directly in the middle of it.

    We're excited to return again next year! Highly recommended.

    Nice and clean cottage

    Jennipher and Joe are very nice owners. They gave us detailed and useful recommendations about Brewster and surrounding areas and helped us plan a fun trip at the cape. Their cottage is clean and pleasant, and close to the beaches and CCBT. There was plenty of space for our family to stretch out and relax indoor and outside. A nice vacation stay option!
