We, Kathy and Jeff, are most excited to own this home, having closed on the property in June 2019. We live in upstate NY, not far from the MA border. As the newest owners, we will continue in the tradition of the previous owners, maintaining the beautiful property and providing our guests with the best experience. We have 3 adult children and our first grandchild arrived in October 2019.

We have vacationed at the Cape every year since 1984 when our first child was 8 weeks old. Since then, we have always wanted a second home on the Cape—we both grew up minutes from salt water; Jeff in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn and Kathy in Commack, Long Island. To now own this home is a dream come true. Never did we expect to find this wonderful home in such a perfect location. Our family has spent wonderful times in this home beginning in the summer of 2019–family reunion, days at the beach, walks and runs on the rail trail and fun times with old and new friends. We are happy to share our home with you and welcome you to ''Beach Rose''!

What is special about this property?
''Beach Rose'' has an exceptional open, roomy and comfortable floor plan and is delightfully decorated in a Cape Cod coastal motif. New dining set, lamps, rugs and ''creature comforts'' add to the ambience. The kitchen is well stocked for casual and formal meals. There is a family room and living room which affords space for various activities--reading, conversation, playing games, watching TV. The basement offers pool and ping pong for the occasional rainy day. There is a basketball hoop for the sports fan.

We love the ambiance ''Beach Rose'' adds for relaxing stays. The yard is filled with blooming hydrangea and a deck overlooking the backyard. Outdoor dining can be enjoyed easily--just step out of the kitchen! Trees provide privacy. Windows are located on all sides of the house affording ample opportunity for lovely breezes in all rooms. Central AC is appreciated for the hot humid days/nights. There is access to a neighborhood tennis court, pickle ball and bocce.

This house really provides us the opportunity to ''turn off'' our busy lives as soon as we enter the front door. At ''Beach Rose'', there is something for everyone to enjoy!

What is special about your town?
Brewster is a delightful town and close to Bay beaches, shopping and dining, and to the National Seashore's ocean beaches. The Seaview Neighborhood is located just off Route 6A and affords easy access to Route 6. Unique to ''Beach Rose'' is the proximity to the Cape Cod Rail Trail...accessible from our street! Bay Beaches are accessible via the Trail and by car. The closest Bay beach is 1.2 miles from the house, Skaket in Orleans is 1.5 miles away and Nauset Beach on the ocean is approximately 2 miles away. Nickerson State Park is within a mile of the house and offers ponds for swimming, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding. There are numerous acres for hiking, bike riding and picnicking. Fine restaurants are located in Brewster and nearby in Orleans, Harwich and Chatham. Bike, kayak, paddle board rentals are available at several vendors nearby. Love baseball??? Take in one of the many games played throughout the summer in the famous premier Cape Cod League--many of these collegiate players find their way to the Big Show...Major League Baseball! Love to shop??? Many fine shopping areas in and around Brewster, Harwich, Orleans, Chatham and not too far away is Provincetown. Make plans to spend a day on Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket and catch a ferry within 30 minutes from Seaview. Opportunities for whale watching excursions, deep sea fishing and boat cruises are not far away. This truly is a wonderful vacation location for relaxing, activities and fun!
