    Lovely waterfront home on little island

    We really enjoyed our stay at the property on Mashnee Island. We rented the place for a family reunion for a long weekend, and it comfortably fit 7 people without feeling crowded. The home was clean, spacious and well kept, with nice natural light and views of the ocean in most rooms. The deck was great for a morning coffee and the outdoor shower felt like a luxury! The best part was being so close to the beach - it was just a one minute walk down from the backyard deck to our private beach, and other beaches on the island were easy to walk to. The house provided all the things we needed to enjoy our stay - stocked kitchen for cooking, washer/dryer for laundry, chairs for the beach, a cooler, etc. We loved staying in this beautiful house on this little island and would definitely return! show more show less

    This is a family home where I have been fortunate enough to spend summers for the last 37 years. Mashnee Island is truly a magical place and this home is the perfect spot to relax with family and enjoy the ocean. We are renting it for the first time and I am hoping to find tenants that will love it as much as we do. I am also a realtor and understand the importance of ensuring a property is well prepared and any unforeseen issues that arise are dealt with in a timely manner. Referrals and repeat business is the key to success and I hope to earn 5 stars always!

    What is special about this property?
    The water views and private beach are amazing. Tenants have direct access to the ocean and can also use the nearby Association beach and Mashnee Causeway beaches. The house lays out perfectly for a family or group of friends with two beds and a full bath on each floor. The open kitchen/living/dining area is great for cooking and enjoying meals together, cuddling up for a movie. The expansive deck is great for relaxing, grilling and dining outdoors and the large outdoor shower with changing area is wonderful after a day at the beach. The house is well appointed with everything you may need in a home away from home.

    What is special about your town?
    Mashnee/Bourne is just 60 miles from Boston and just 4 miles from the Bourne Bridge making it an easy commute. Just minutes from the Cape cod canal for biking/jogging/boating/fishing. The Mashnee community is warm and welcoming with Saturday afternoon hot dog stands, July 4th parade, annual road race, trick or treating in August and the list goes on. Grey Gables Market is perfect for sandwiches, grocery items, spirits, meats and groceries. The nearby Lobster Trap restaurant is a Cape Cod favorite. Several ice cream shops, coffee and bakeries nearby. There is a public golf course a few miles an away and great biking along the Cape Cod Canal just couple of miles down the road.
