Monument Beach is just minutes away, as well as the Lobster Trap, Whistlestop Ice Cream, and some other great local dining spots.

The open floor kitchen with breakfast nook is a perfect way to start your day, the large open floor living room/dining area serves as a great entertainment spot, and a back deck with propane grill and seating is an ideal spot for your evening cookouts.

The house is just one mile away from Brookside Country Club, a challenging and affordable golf course with stunning views of Buzzards Bay. There are also numerous other golf courses located within a 10 minute drive.

There's even a home gym located in the basement, complete with a treadmill, stationary bike, weights and workout bench. The quiet neighborhood is perfect for a morning stroll or an afternoon hike through the nature reserve located across the street from the house.

    Home from Home

    We needed to be in Mass for business for the summer period and wanted to find a place we could call Home for our family and baby. We found this house and contacted the owners and were very pleased from initial contact right up until the day we left. Coming from Ireland and not seeing the house before we arrived was daunting but the photographs and description are exactly how it is.

    The owners couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and even kitted out the house for our baby in advance of arriving and gave gifts as toys as they understood we couldn't bring them all! You wouldn't get that service or care from many summer rentals.

    The location is amazing, so peaceful and the sounds of nature outside at day or night makes you feel like you are in a rural area rather than a suburb. The house is stunning outside and inside and so well decorated, bright, airy and all mod cons. The central air system and smart controls great especially with the warms summers and needing keep the house cool for our young baby.

    We honestly started to feel like this house was home after a short while and even considered extending our stay over winter!

    The beach, village and area in general is great and I would highly recommend it to young families. The proximity to Bourne, Falmouth and other key areas is great and a great base for exploring the Cape. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

    My only issue was we had to leave! To say we fell in love with the house and the area is an understatement and will certainly return on vacation.

    Thank you to the owners who made this stay a summer to remember and we would be happy to chat to anyone considering this rental and tell you all the great things about our experience.

    Cozy Cape House!

    Our recent getaway was simply wonderful. The location was perfect, so close to beaches and to local amenities.

    The rental itself was lovely and clean, with everything we needed. We enjoyed grilling outside and lounging in the cozy living area.

    We loved exploring Falmouth, which was really close, for local shops and dining, and we even took the ferry to Martha's Vineyard for a day. The property manager was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

    Overall, our stay was fantastic. If you're looking for a relaxing, convenient location I highly recommend this spot. It's perfect for those who are looking to be not to far into the Cape but located close to great towns.

    We have owned our home for 2 years now and spent the majority of that time freshening it up and making general improvements. Floors were all refinished or replaced, bathrooms were completely redone, every wall and ceiling has been repainted, new baseboards, outets, light switches, we installed new lighting throughout the property, a new hot water heater, the basement was drylocked, painted and turned into a home gym, and we did an immense amount of work on the landscaping. We had planned for this to be our forever home but life circumstances dictated that we needed to be back in Boston for work. We have just recently moved and listed our home as a weekly rental. This is our first foray into this rental industry, but we both have spent years in hospitality and worked in hotels. We look forward to the opportunity to host new guests at our Cape house!

    What is special about this property?
    This house is just incredibly comfortable and clean. The home only had one previous owner when we bought it and they did not live there year round. We love the open floor plan on the first floor, it is a great entertainment area for larger groups. We also love the large master bedroom, it gets afternoon sun but stays nice and dark in the morning for sleeping in.

    What is special about your town?
    The neighborhood is so quiet and family friendly, and there are numerous paths in the woods for nature walks. Monument beach is such a cool little village, the Lobster Trap is a delicious destination and the Trading Post lounge is a very fun local bar with some of the best bar pizza you can find anywhere. We make it a point to go to Whistlestop Ice Cream as often as possible, the cape is known for their ice cream spots but this is one of the best ones we have found. Finally, there is a 7/11, Dunkin, McDonalds, Liquor store, and Pizza by Evan just down the street. Pizza by Evan is our personal favorite, they are owned by a wonderful family, have delicious sandwiches, and their prices are still incredibly reasonable.
