    A Fantastic Week of Family, Fun, and Sun

    We stayed for a week and wished we stayed longer. We held a family reunion at this amazing house. The location, grounds, pool, and interior space is terrific. There is plenty of room to party and/or chill. The kitchen and entertainment areas are fabulous. The appliances, kitchenware, towels, bedding and furniture are all tasteful and the entire house was thoughtfully equipped to ensure one's stay was enjoyable. The house comes with everything one needs. We hosted a lobster boil for a dozen people and were amazed that everything needed was present. Rob was brilliant coordinating our stay and his communication was thorough. He opened his house to us and made us feel at ease from the moment the doors opened. Highly recommend and cannot pass along enough praise. We hope to return. show more show less

    Location was great as was the comfortable outstanding accommodations! The owners were extremely prompt in responding to any questions and recommendations for restaurants, touring, etc. Highly recommend!!!

    Summer Fun Family Reunion!

    The property was splendid for our family gathering, heaps of airy space, very well-appointed and charming touches all around! The pool is spectacular with the garden and its summer bounty being a close second. The hosts were very welcoming and quick to respond at all times to our questions. Well worth a repeat visit :)

    Combining my New England upbringing, appreciation for colonial architecture, and 25+ year career in the design field, the completion of Sow's Ear is the realization of a life-long dream.
    This was a fully "hands-on" project. From initially discovering the severely neglected property, to the finish touches on the landscape & pool design, every detail was carefully considered and executed. Paramount in my design vision has always been in the creation of spaces where life is lived; family and friends gather, and memories are made.
