I've been staying at these cottages since I was a little girl myself and have continued the tradition with my children who are now in their 20s. The lake is beautiful, quiet and great for swimming, fishing, paddle boarding or a ride out in the row boat. The cottages are cozy and we always love doing a puzzle out on the screened porch or reading a nice book. This year we brought pickle ball rackets and had a blast playing on the private tennis court. We've been staying at the Holiday Farm Cottages for many years. The cottages are vintage locations with classic kitchens complete with refridgerator, stove, and microwave. The cottages have outdoor showers (in addition to indoor showers). We have always found the cottages clean and set up arrival. The rentals have access to a quiet shared beach on the property, on Garrett's pond. The cottages also have updated internet TV - just plug in your own streaming service for the duration of your stay, The West Barnstable location affords access to all of Cape Cod's attractios, without the traffic and crowds of other parts of the cape. This is a serene spot and hard to believe it's right off the highway. The cottage is basic but clean and has all necessities. The lake is peaceful and private and the grounds are lovely. It' a great base camp for our many Cape activities. We so enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and friendly owners.

Renters beware!! On arrival, the door had to be kicked open, windows were stuck open, AC dripped in a bucket on the front porch. There were a bees nest and bird nest on the front porch. You can't use the microwave and AC at the same time or you would blow a fuse. The cottage was in need of a good cleaning. Barbecue was about the size of a dinner plate, and the outdoor chairs were unsafe to sit in, unless you wanted to be on the ground. The pictures on line were not updated, 2 pictures of the beach and lake were updated around the first part of August 2013. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. show more show less

We've been staying at this property for several years now. The location is quiet, peaceful and relaxing yet convenient to all that the Cape has to offer. Cottages are very comfortable and always clean. The lake is gorgeous and the fishing is great too! The friendly owners have a house on property which is a plus. Only negative is when we have to leave :(

The Wright family have been staying here for many years and have never had a complaint. The cottages were always clean and comfortable. This is rustic living at its best. It is NOT a hotel or inn---just a good quiet relaxing place. You can be in any neighboring town within minutes. The proprietors are always there to help if there is a problem. Are you looking for a GREAT place to relax and have fun? Then this is the place for you. Enjoy your stay. We have.
