About Nantucket Coffee Roasters...Discover the pleasure of a delicious cup of island-roasted coffee. Nantucket has a long history of appreciating coffee. In 1873, a British bark bound for Boston from Rio de Janeiro ran aground near Miacomet Pond on Nantucket with a cargo of 4,000 bags of coffee. As the passangers looked on, 1,000 bags were off-loaded to refloat the vessel and taken to Straight Wharf. We at Nantucket Coffee Roasters love great coffee. After years of searching for the perfect cup, we realized that roasting only the best beans and brewing them fresh could satisfy our desire for a quality coffee experience. We personally choose from the world's best coffees and roast them here on Nantucket Island.
