About Hog Island Beer Co... To us, there is no better place to enjoy a cold one than on the shores of the most picturesque place on the planet. After forming the concept, we had one challenge – coming up with a name. It needed to be something that had a direct connection to our town, the lower Cape and the sea. Hog Island, located on Little Pleasant Bay in Orleans overlooks our famed Nauset Beach and the dune shacks that dot her coastline. It's rumored that Captain Kidd buried treasure on the island, many have attempted to locate it – we feel we found it.
