George's Pizza House

This old school pizza place can't be beat for service, location, taste and value. We are from Upstate New York and my teenaged son says this is the best pizza in the "world" and it is an obligatory stop on every trip.
The subs are delicious too.
Sure it's crowded in the summer, but isn't every good place? They deliver in the off-season, and maybe in-season as well, I'm not as sure about that.

I have been eating George's pizza since I was about 5 years old when we first moved to the Cape. I love the crew and I've NEVER had a bad meal there.
You just can't go wrong with this place.

George's is our favorite pizza place anywhere. In addition to a great Greek/Italian pizza recipe, we love the Greek specialty dishes. The staff is straightforward and not particularly sociable, but at a place like this it's the food that matters. Call ahead or plan to wait a while.

I have been eating George's Pizza since the current owner and son of the founder was a toddler - the recipe hasn't changed and it's still my favorite pizza in the WORLD. If I could capture it and take the recipe back to Toronto, I could make a killing. Crisp tasty crust, excellent flavorful sauce, generous toppings. Six stars!
