BUYER/RENTER BEWARE! Bad customer experience.

BUYER/RENTER BEWARE! Family rented 4 bikes for full day for ~$150 and about 90 minutes in, my rear tire started to wobble badly, forcing us to return, at a crawl, from our trip down the coast (for a total of 3 hours of rental use). The attitude of the staff was off-putting. "No refunds allowed," said the young brash man at the counter.
You can hire bikes for 3 hours or for a day, and they wouldn't even consider downgrading our rental to 3 hours (which was the time we used), or crediting us in anyway for the broken bike.
The day before, I came to check out the shop and as I walked in, the older gentlemen, referred to as the "owner," was having an altercation with another family. Since I didn't know the context, I didn't walk out and go elsewhere, but in hindsight, the owner was quite rude to this customer and that did bother me. I should have followed my gut feeling and gone up the road to the other bike shop.
Folks, you make your own decisions, but there are enough negative reviews online about this retailer to make you at least reconsider using them. I know I will never do business with them again.
