High dune cliffs line this beach and in the morning and late afternoon you may catch a glimpse of hang gliders taking off from the cliffs. The rough waters make it a great spot for surfers. The approach to the beach is a long, sandy, dune path so use caution. In Summer 2020, parking will be limited as a large lot will be closed. Day passes will not be available, so resident or visitor sticker will be required.

Never populated, secluded, easy parking, soft sand ,huge waves, you can walk for miles the entire national seashore. Note: There are high sand cliffs to navigate down ,but the traverse down is well worth it .Don't fret our 72 yr old mother made it no problem.

Beautiful outpace beach that is quiter than Cahoon Hallow Beach right next door. You can walk from White Crest via the beach down to Cahoon Hallow and enjoy lunch or a drink at the Beachcomber restaurant.

80-foot high dunes. Broad beach. Colorful unusual rocks instead of shells.

Excluding the $30 parking fee, you will not find an easy acces beach on the outer Cape that gives you a better sense on why JFK passed legislation to set aside the CC National Seashore for generations to enjoy.

This beach is absolutely beautiful! The beach is wide and clean, and it's never crowded. Be warned: you may not want to do this beach with small children or big coolers and a lot of gear...there's a very large sand dune to descend to get to the beach, and going back up quite the trek! Newcomb Hollow and Maguire's Landing are also very nice, with much less of a sand dune to tackle and may be more appropriate for families. Keep your eyes open for seals at any of the beaches!

white sand and beautiful dunes. Once in a while you might see a seal floating by.

White Crest beach in Wellfleet is just north of Marconi Beach and it is less crowded than the other good national seashore beaches - Nauset Light, Marconi and Coastguard. The beach attracts both families and surfers.
