Veteran's Beach is a great spot to spend the day. Whether you are looking to swim, beachcomb, or play some beach games this beach can accommodate you. There is a playground, grills, park benches, and a large parking lot that can be used for a daily fee.

Low key - not too crowded - no seaweed!

While we found the ocean facing beaches to be cluttered with sea weed, Veteran's beach was clean and much more palatable for the younger children. That coupled with a playground area made it the better choice for us.

This was a lovely little beach a short jaunt from our rental Hyannis Vacation Rental ID 17022. Loved it!

We have small children, it was a great beach with a play park, shower and changing facilities, and a rest room. Water is not deep, which we appreciate with our little kids. Mayflower and Corporation are too expensive and too crowded, you have to rush yourself out to get to them. I'd rather drive 9 miles at my leisure and get on the beach when I want.

Only a short drive from house [Property ID 13385]. You can park right at the beach. Water is calm and shallow. Next to Hyannis Yacht Club...can watch the sailboats come and go as well as the ferry boats going to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket islands. Bathroom facilities very near by. Usually not crowded. JFK Memorial next to beach.

It is a large beach with ample parking. If you do not have a beach pass you can purchase one in town or pay as you go. The water is very calm. We have gone to several of the beaches in the past, but by far this is our favorite
