NRTA seasonal shuttle bus. This very popular beach is accessible by bus, bike, or foot. As the name indicates there is plenty of surf at this beach. Stay late into the afternoon and after 5 you watch the fisherman surf casting from the beach. Parking is available.

Beautiful dunes! Be careful for the sharks, snack shack didn’t offer much, bathrooms were clean.

Actually, our favorite beach is Nobadeer, down off of Nonantum Road. The beach is our happy place, and this one delivers! We love the surf! But, Nantucket offers many wonderful beaches, Sconset, Quidnet, Surfside, Cisco, Madaket, etc…waves/no waves…Nantucket has a beach for you!

really we went to Fishermans, but basically the same beach as Surfside, excellent views, nice waves, plenty of privacy in the AM, got busier as day went on. Parking was easily accessible to the beach, plenty of spots, and a quick walk to beach and ocean.

We really love the drive on beach next to Surfside - Nobadeer! But if you aren't driving on - this has great waves, a ton of beach to spread out, concessions, bathrooms, chair and umbrella rentals

The paths through the dunes spill onto a spacious area of Surfside beach that is well away from the lifeguards and children to the North. To the South is Miacomet point and the sunsets are often dotted with fisherman shore casting. This is classic Nantucket.

Surfside is very cool...wide open beach and great surf depending on the day. Great for walking and there are life guards if you have kids or are a nervous swimmer. Fun beach and if its crowded there is plenty of room to just walk down and find a spot.
