When visiting the island of Nantucket, visiting this beach is a must. The views to be had here are just lovely. Glimpse Nantucket Sound and Great Point Lighthouse as you approach the hill that leads down to this gorgeous beach. There is gentle surf, perfect for swimming, but beware of the many steps to down to the beach (that will have to be climbed when leaving!) There is very little parking.

This beach is perfect for a long day at the beach with something for everyone. Our kids spent hours digging for sand crabs, searching for seashells, and trying to catch crabs on the large sand bar.

Gorgeous beach anytime of the year. Be careful in the surf, it can be strong. Swimming for little ones best done over at children's beach.
