This large beach has plenty of space to spread out. The sand is not as soft as some other Cape Cod beaches, but the views are lovely. The water is calm, allowing for good swimming. 4WD- Driving on the beach is permissible and requires a special permit from the Town of Barnstable / Sticker prices vary. Parking is available for a daily fee.

Wide beach with plenty of room to set up chairs, umbrellas, etc. - and the beach is aptly named because it is very sandy. Great beach for walking and also swimming.

Time your stay at low tide so you can walk through the water to the sand bar just off the beach!

Our son loved this beach because when the tide went out he could walk for miles on the sandbar to look for crabs and seashells

Take a walk down the beach and you arrive at a shallow sandy area, warm enough to jump right in and swim. No motels, just dunes and the ocean. No crowds, Picture perfect..

We took my grandfather to Sandy Neck, fond memories! Perhaps the most beautiful Cape Cod sunsets. The drive to beach is gorgeous with walking trails and small dunes.
