Large beach with plenty of parking (get there early on super hot days/weekends)! There is a "quieter" side and a more lively side. They have bathrooms (okay...but better than porta-potty) and a food truck on site. The ice cream truck comes a few times a day and goes up and down the beach! Lifeguards are on duty and the beach is super clean!

Red River Beach is long with plenty of room to spread out. The town cleaned the beach almost every day so that the sand was soft and easy to walk on. The views are spectacular and parking is fairly easy.

Great facilities including both food and ice cream trucks - best kept secret.....Tidal Marshes. You're children will put down their phones, won't complain about the connectivity and play like we all used too.

Red River beach is our favorite to visit when we are down here! Very clean, parking is so close and has bathrooms. The tide does not come in or out here so it is perfect to bring the kids to!

We could see the beach from our deck [Vacation Rental ID 5382] - very calming view. People complied with social distancing on the beach so it did not feel crowded at all. There is a food available also.

We like to hang out on the far end (towards Chatham). Less people, amazing views and great swimming.

This is a smaller beach, but it wasn't crowded and we were able to park easily -- even arriving very late in the morning (11:30). I loved that the beach is right next to the parking lot as it can get tiring to schlep chairs, bags, etc. to some of the beaches with a longer walk from parking lot to sand. And being on the sound, the water was about ten degrees warmer than the ocean-side beaches.

Usually not crowded. A beautiful, large sandy beach, calm, warm water for swimming, plenty of parking, clean rest rooms available.

We've been coming here for over 30 years. There is almost always a breeze. There are bathrooms, a snack shack and the ice cream truck always always shows up. You need a pair of water shoes because there are small rocks as you walk in, but the water is clean. You can fish off the piers. If you haven't brought lunch with you, we recommend The Mason Jar in Harwich.

Smaller beach that is never too crowded. Some waves. Lots of shells. It is worth getting the parking pass from the town if you are going to be there for a week or more!

Plenty of parking with multiple entrances to the beach. It is a long beach so we were able to find a not so crowded area on a pretty busy day. Also had a bathroom, food truck and icecream truck! I great beach day.

Wonderful beach with almost 200 parking spaces. Even during busy times of the day we always found this to have plenty of room. Very clean and convenient. Cars can drive up almost right on top of it. Best in the vacinity imho.
great family beach, short distance from the cottage [Property ID 7091]. Easy parking, clean beach and restrooms.
