Where: Paines Creek Road, Brewster View Map
Water Type: Salt water
Type: Calm
Good for: Swimming, Fishing, Skimboarding
Paine's Creek is a scenic inlet and at low tide you can walk the flats where there is plenty to explore. When it is high tide, the inlet is fun to swim and splash in, as well as float on on a raft. This is a wonderful spot to watch the sunset. Parking is limited as the lot is small.

It’s perfect for little kids. It’s a tiny beach, enough parking for about 12 cars. There’s a nice rock jedi and the water is truly a big creek that your kids can explore in, walking up on different sandbars, not worrying about the waves at all. If you a bit before low tide, you can be in the creek for a good 4 hours with your littles finding hermit crabs, shells, and crabs. So so clean and so much fun!!

Don't think beach. Think creek -- rising and falling with the tides. Ideal for kids.

Great for families with young children and teens. Natural lazy River. Fun for catching crabs or just relaxing with a book and the view.

We loved this beach for our young toddler. We came early to get parking (it was very easy to get a day pass by just buying online) and we spent countless hours on the beach and playing in the water during low tide. There is lots of different areas to explore along the water which made it fun as well and it was such a short drive from the rental we were staying at.

At low tide and/or sunset, it is gorgeous. You can walk out for almost a mile and watch the tide come in.

We love this beach and it's lazy river that changes with the tides. It's also the best place to catch a sunset!

Paine's Creek is PERFECT for the under 10 year old set. Bay side means the waves are tiny and the creatures are plentiful. We bought a parking pass for our stay through the town of Brewster website, so we even got to park. If our kids were slightly older we'd have walked or biked and saved the parking fee and the gas. Next time!

Our kids 17, 14, and 11 loved being at Paine's Creek. They had a blast jumping off the bridge and we loved walking to the other side during low tide and having a beautiful stretch of beach all to ourselves.

This was a lovely walking beach that allows dogs until May 1. It was special and quiet and lovely. We got our coffee and tea at the Snowy Owl then headed here for great walks!

This is our favorite bay beach, low or high tide! There is a lovely lazy river that is so fun for kids and also a jetty that they love to climb. During low tide you can walk for miles.

This Beach is a hidden gem that isn't crowded with too many people and provided some of the most beautiful sunsets I have seen. Depending on Tide schedules, this beach also offers the opportunity to walk out onto the Flats and see some really fascinating sea life and oyster farms. The beach resides next to Crows beach which is fun to see all the jeeps on the Flats from a distance.

Nice beach, plenty of space. Beautiful during low tide, fun for everyone at low tide. High tide was fun, especially if you had a donut to sit on and float around!

Paines Creek was our favorite above all. As stated in our review- at low tide you can explore all the tidal pools and walk-out a mile to where you are rewarded with a swim in beautiful crystal clear water. At high tide you can ride the flow of the creek into the salt water- just wonderful! At low tide and high tide there are perfect spots for youngsters all the way up to the elderly!

This is a secret little gem with the most amazing sunsets. Also a great place to walk on the ocean's floor for MILES when the tide is out. Our favorite place in the whole world - literally.

Close to the house [Brewster Vacation Rental ID 7527] with a great inlet for smaller kids and then the regular Bay for the bigger kids. Get there early for a parking spot.
