Smaller CALM BEACH….you could walk out really far- really nice for the little ones. An ice cream truck even came by for goodies. Indoor plumbing a big plus!

Usually Hardings Beach, but due to the high temps this past summer, jellyfish and Man O' War were a problem. We found Oyster Bay in Chatham to be perfect for our 11month old.

Close to the home [Chatham Vacation Rental ID 25326], small beach but the easy access to the parking pad. Water was also warmer than Lighthouse beach.

For families with small children this is a great beach: protected from the ocean surf, shallow so water is warmer than at other beaches, public bathrooms, other children to play with, nice sand, near town should you want to make the short jaunt to an ice cream shop or buy more sand toys :-) - The ice cream truck stops by daily :-)

Oyster pond is great place for young families. Shallow roped off swimming area. Easy access, parking, life guard, restrooms. Picnic tables to enjoy lunch with a great view. Oyster Pond offers some of the best sunsets on the cape too!

Perfect beach for families with small children. Unfortunately, no surf, but warm water, very gentle slope, and sandy bottom extending out at least 100 yds, and 2 floating platforms to swim to. Gentle slope means a lot of shallow water for everyone to play in without feeling crowded. Friends recommended it, and it's now our go-to beach.
