The bay was perfect for younger children. Roped off swim areas were set up, and there was a ton of great sea-life for the kids to explore (hermit crabs, clams, snails, crabs, minnows, etc). The beach wasn't overly crowded or loud and made for a very relaxing trip day after day.

The beach on Onset bay is long and the water is beautiful, especially fun for families, and safe for young children. If arrival is timed right, there are even some shady areas, which is important to some. The village itself has a casual, friendly vibe, and most folks smile and say hello. AND there's a great pizza place adjacent--Marc Anthony's.
