Take a boat from Stage Harbor or use water Taxi to this secluded beach. Located on in a wildlife refuge, there is plenty of birdwatching to be done. Don't forget to bring your fishing rod, some of the best surfcasting on Cape Cod is on Monomoy beach.
Super scenic

Monomoy/ Morris Island is a dog-on-leash friendly beach with an abundance of wildlife. We watched seals frolicking in the ocean and birds exploring the tall grasses of the channel. The loop trail gives visitors the best of the calm and wild side of natural life.

Monomoy beach was amazing! It is a federal park so our dogs got to enjoy it too. It is free and not crowded at all. Highly recommend a visit.

We absolutely loved Monomoy in Chatham. We were able to walk on the sandbars while we were there during low tide and it is a beautiful area. The day we were there the water was fairly warm.
