A popular spot for fishing as well as bird watching, Lobsterville Beach offers a quiet spot to relax as well as 2 miles of shoreline to walk. Its calm waters on the Vineyard Sound also make it a nice spot for snorkeling. The beach is free and open to the public, but parking is limited.

Crystal clear water, shallow, not crowded. Parking is not easy....get there early.

My favorite part about this beach is that it's dog friendly during the summer which is why we always stay in Aquinnah. So easy to walk on and off the beach and great for those looking for calm waters to launch paddleboards and kayaks.

So sandy and remote.

usually very secluded and peaceful. A bit rocky by the shore but once you get out past the rocks there is smooth sand and the water stays shallow for a long way out. A very tranquil beach.

Quiet, calm beach. Not crowded at all. Great for kids and dogs and parking is close to beach.

Calm waters with a rocky bit in close to shore but then soft sand beyond. There's never a crowd and it's a great spot to relax and play in the sand.

Less traveled...quiet and calm water that's a little colder than other beaches. Not a lot of kids around, and the fishing is good.
