Lambert's Cove Beach, Martha's Vineyard

Our favorite beach on the island for its soft sand and tranquil water as it is set in the cove. It also never gets too crowded because the parking is limited so you have to get there early!

Perfect beach for a family with little ones who can't otherwise go in the water at beaches with bigger waves. The water is calm and clear, the sand is beautiful, and the beach isn't nearly as crowded as others on the island. It is a bit of a hike, but the path is easy to navigate.

Lamberts Cove Beach Is on of my favorite beaches. The swimming is excellent, and the beach is not overly crowded.

Lambert’s cove beach is open to the public before 10AM and after 5:30 PM. We went twice around 6:30PM - it was absolutely beautiful! The sand is so fine, the water is calm, and the view of the sunset is magical! The path leading to the beach from the parking lot is so nice. You have to experience it yourself!!

Beautiful white sand beach, although access to it is not the most convenient with respect parking and walking to it.

This is a wonderful beach for young children.

Lambert’s Cove Beach is awesome!! Our visit had us in the Vineyard slightly off-season so the small parking area was less of an issue than it likely is in high season. Visitors that make the trail walk to this beach will be pleasantly rewarded with soft sand and a beautiful sunset!

Quiet, white sand

It is a picturesque beach with hills and space to separate so that it never seems crowded. The long walk to the beach from the road has been made easier with a wooden walkway. During most years the early morning dog runs are fun for dogs and dog owners.
