This large, sandy, bayside beach has plenty to do. The large beach provides lots of space for beach games, the calm surf allows for plenty of swimming and playing in the water and at low tide there are an endless suppy of tidal pools to examine. Also, a great spot to hunt for seashells. There is a good view of the boats going to and from Wellfleet Harbor. Parking is available with a sticker(resident, seasonal, weekly or daily)

2 minute drive from cottage [vacation rental ID 35274] with a short walk from the car to the beach. white sand with warm water and minimal waves making it ideal for our 2 year old. just be careful of the shells at low tide and they can slice your feet if you aren't careful.

Kid-friendly, wonderful at low tide (as long as you know what time it happens!), beautiful at sunset, and super close to the Map House.

The local private bay-side beach (which you get access to with this rental [Wellfleet Vacation Rental ID 32878]) is uncrowded and good for kids and swimming (except at low tide, when the water is gone).

Expanse of sand at low tide. Great for kids. Beautiful view. Sandy bottom at high tide made swimming, wading, and splashing around wonderful

Quiet with tons to explore during low tide. Lots of oyster shells (watch your toes!), but a great way to examine the tide pools and a good place to swim with little kids.

Indian Neck is gentle and you can follow the tides. but also Herring Cove Beach is a half hour drive at the very tip of the cape beyond Ptown.... and we went there a few times especially for sunset. both are fantastic! so you get the bay and the ocean !!! and we never even needed a bay beach sticker!

We loved Indian Neck Beach on the bay in Wellfleet. At low tide, beach shoes are a necessity due to shells! The water is warm and clear and the beach is not crowded, great for families!
