A peninsula beach, Dowses offers your choice of bay or ocean water. The sand is soft and the beach is lined with beautiful dunes. It is a wonderful spot for collecting shells. Parking is available for a daily fee.

You cannot pay to park your car at Dowses beach . You must have a resident parking permit or a landlord pass for your vehicle to be allowed in the parking lot. Although all humans are welcome, their cars are not. You can drop off or arrive on foot, bicycle etc. if you do not have a resident parking permit.

Loved the dock for fishing, nice, soft sand, clean water, friendly people, and helpful lifeguards. It also had a bathroom!

Very small beach, but it was great to be away from some of the busier areas. Having a resident beach pass from the renters made it possible to get in.

This beach is in a BEAUTIFUL area. It was so pretty and scenic. We loved walking out on the rocks and swimming in the warm waters. The water was clear and the sand was soft.
