Where: Corporation Road, Dennis View Map
Water Type: Salt water
Type: Calm
Good for: Swimming, Walking, Skimboarding
The calm, bayside waters of Corporation Beach are warm and perfect for children and families. When the tide goes out, plenty of tide pools are left behind for exploring. Dennis Public Market runs a concession stand here. There is a decent amount of parking at this beach. Weekly and daily parking permits are available from the town of Dennis.

Our kids always find the most critters here and it’s more kid and grandparent friendly, with a short walk to, and on, the sand. It also has bathrooms and a great snack bar.

We spent the day at this beautiful beach. We recommend getting there early, it fills up fast!

An uncrowded beach with great vistas. On a clear day, it’s possible to see the Pilgrim’s Tower in Provincetown at the far northern tip of Cape Cod. Comfortable walking at high or low tide. And on any day, the higher level benches are a great place to while away the hours, or to take advantage of the swings and clean restrooms.
While we love Mayflower, we find the kids and grandparents love Corporation best. You don’t need to walk as far to find a good spot (key for grandparents who don’t do well walking in the deep sand), clean bathrooms, snack shack and swings, and lots more ocean life for the kids to find because of the sea grass and jetties. We’ve had days at Mayflower where they don’t even find any hermit crabs, but at Corporation they’ve found those, sand crabs, squid, horseshoe crabs, starfish, and more. They tend to have a much busier and fun day there. It’s also much less windy on that side than say, Smugglers, which, when windy, is just an awful experience.

This beach has been a family favorite for many years because of the calm water and view. Arrive early to get parking. The water is cool so it’s best on a very warm or hot day.

Great for kids, the low and high tides are a lot of fun for the kids. Snack bar and bathrooms located pretty much right on the beach.

Get there early. Or late. Or be prepared to wait in line for a parking spot. It’s a gentle, gradually sloping beach with mild “surf” and excellent facilities - snack bar, rest rooms, shower towers.
We love the view and calm water at this beach. Children enjoy the tide pools at low tide, and snacks are available.

Plenty of space for everyone. Great for small kids with lots of space for building sand castles.
Michael L.Melrose, MA2 reviewsMember since: Oct 2021
Perfect for younger kids and parents, especially around low tide. A little cold, to be sure, but little-to-no surf, a great view, and plenty of sandcastle-building materials. Clean public bathrooms with running water and a snack shop, too.

A horseshoe shape beach in Dennis. the beach shelves gently into the sea and the waves are not too high. The car park is on a cliff so you get a great view of the whole beach. The tide goes out a long way so great for beach walks.

Perfect for young kids. Not too cold, and almost zero waves, so we weren't worried about undertow. Other beaches we visited had jellyfish, coarse sand, or were covered in shells, which made walking difficult. No such issues here. Although $25 for parking at 4:30pm seemed a little steep, seeing as other beaches weren't charging after 4pm.

When I was a child, I spent many days on Mayflower Beach which is great. While staying at Dan and Linda's cottage [Vacation Rental ID 25074], I spent most of my vacation at Corporation Beach. It is beautiful and a wonderful spot for children and families. The DPM snack bar was outstanding!! Also, check out the scenic views at Chapin Beach; they will take your breath away!

It was the most convenient beach and the kids loved playing in the tidal pools and exploring among the rocks. Also, there was the convenience of rest rooms and the DPM food stand.

Calm water was perfect for children to swim with their boogie boards. They also enjoyed finding hermit crabs at low tide. Clean restrooms, showers and a snack bar.

Beautiful clear, cold water. We found tons of teeny hermit crabs (at least 30), which was a thrill for our kids. Water is calm and shallow, very safe for young swimmers. Very busy but worth it!

The beach is perfect for small children, shallow, where the tide creates small pools for the kids to play in. Clean toilets, clean beach, clean water.

This was by far the kids favorite spot. It's a small enough beach that we did not have to be on top of them every minute, but large enough that they were always having fun and keeping busy; collecting tiny hermit crabs, looking for smaller crabs under the rocks, wading out at low tide, watching a couple of seals or trying to body board. It was a perfect fit!
