Cliff Pond is quite a large pond. Although the beach is not large, it is adequate. Little Cliff Pond is adjacent, also great for fishing and kayaking. Boats are allowed so there is a roped off area for swimming. There are boat rentals available at this location.

My family loves hiking the loop trail around Cliff Pond in Nickerson State Park and taking dips in the clear water at various beaches along the route. It’s about three miles around, but adjacent Little Cliff Pond is a little under 2, and is a great alternative for younger kids or when you’re pressed for time. The trails are well maintained and there is beauty everywhere you look. The beaches tend to be quiet and the water is great for swimming, tossing a frisbee, paddleboarding, kayaking, etc.
