Breakwater Beach, Cape Cod

Peaceful. Make sure you check the tide chart. Great place to watch the sunset.

Love the flats at low tide, not too crowded.

My kids loved playing in the tidal pools at this beach. The tide moves very quickly. We got there at high tide and in a few hours we couldn't even see where the water met the sand. We were told the tide goes out 2 miles at low tide which I didn't believe at first but after seeing it I know it's true!

I gave it 4 stars because if you're looking for a beach to swim at this might not be it unless you come at high tide. But for kids who like to play in tidal pools it's great!

Breakwater Beach is one of the best beaches on the Cape. Go at low tide and you can walk for miles on the tidal flats.

Every trip to Brewster includes beaches for swimming and gathering during the day and for the lovely sunsets at dusk. Breakwater Beach and Crosby Landing among favorites for parking and beach access.

Nice beach, close to town and perfect for families.

Our young kids thoroughly enjoyed exploring during low tide. There was ample parking whenever we visited and it was a short distance from our rental.

Brewster sand flats at the end of the street was amazing [Vacation Rental ID 19784]. The views and the wildlife were spectacular.

Discovering crabs on the flats and the sunsets were beautiful.
