Bass River (Smugglers), Cape Cod

Busy beach with a large viewing dock at the mouth of the Bass River. Limited snack options but they do have small facilities for restrooms and sandy feet rinsing.

Plenty of space to spread out. Volleyball nets. Giant sun umbrella. Bathrooms and snack shack. Shore not too rocky. Lots of parking. Fishing pier.

Easy access for handicapped person, and a beautiful beach.

Easy access to bathrooms, right on the Bass River to watch boats come in and out, and also close to beach-side hotel bars for great frozen drinks!

This beach is right where the bass river empties into the sound,There are lots of boats to watch And The beach is nice white sand And is well kept.There is also a small fishing pier Where are you can Fish at the mouth of the river.

The water there was so warm (something uncommon in my experience with the Cape.) It was a great place to swim and hang out.

We spent our beach days mostly at Smugglers Beach, just down the road a bit. Easy to get to and not far from home!

Great for families

So close to the cottage, a great walk to the beach and just beautiful all around! Lots of parking. Bathrooms and a snack bar are a bonus! The fishing pier is also great. Found lots of gorgeous shells at this beach - our kids loved it and loved the sand!

Loved that this beach had restrooms, showers and outdoor shower to get the sand off. Get there early enough on a great beach day to secure parking
