The water there was so warm (something uncommon in my experience with the Cape.) It was a great place to swim and hang out.

We spent our beach days mostly at Smugglers Beach, just down the road a bit. Easy to get to and not far from home!

So close to the cottage, a great walk to the beach and just beautiful all around! Lots of parking. Bathrooms and a snack bar are a bonus! The fishing pier is also great. Found lots of gorgeous shells at this beach - our kids loved it and loved the sand!

Loved that this beach had restrooms, showers and outdoor shower to get the sand off. Get there early enough on a great beach day to secure parking

We liked the Beach because it had no Sharks, nice sand, lots of parking, clean restrooms, warm water, and a good snack stand. Some things we didn't like was the seaweed and lack of surf.

Tradition! We have been to Bass River for many years n feel comfortable there. We also went to Sea Gull Beach a number of times and loved the fact that we could walk there!

The best part was the beach - it’s a quiet and small beach with a long wading distance. If you have smaller kids you know how crazy it is to try to keep track of them in huge waves. This beach is ideal - we actually got some relaxation time, which is a huge deal for us!!

1/2 mile to beach. Love the view and the water. My home away from home. Refreshes me. Rest rooms, showers, and snack restaurant right there.

Just walk down the beach to the Bass River estuary. Watch people fish and launch their boats. Sit on a bench and watch the River flow. Enjoy the sand sculpture next to the launch area and along the sidewalk back to the house.

We generally go to Bass river beach daily. It is an expansive sandy beach and my grandchildren love crabbing off the pier with their dad. Also watching the boats/yachts go in and out of the Bass river outlet just adds to the whole experience.

This beach is terrific for families. It has a great snack bar, clean bathrooms and plenty of room for the kids to play. The parking lot can fill up on nice days so get there before late morning.
Large, has a fishing dock where the kids can go crabbing. Beautiful view of boats coming out of the harbor.

Great for little children as long as you stay near shoreline . Tides can be very strong and change suddenly if you swimming or are kayaking need to check tide schedule

It was within walking distance [of Property ID 21283]. My husband and I would drop the girls off with all the beach chairs, coolers and other beach stuff and we would go back to the house and park the car and walk back to the beach that is how close it is to the house. We did this out of the 7 days we were there we went to the beach 4.
