The Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Conservancy of Southwest Florida, Caribbean Gardens: The ZOO in Naples, Everglades National Park and many other parks, trails and centers, are lush with rare species of flora and fauna indigenous to the state, along with exotic birds, insects, mammals and even the American Alligator. Naples also offers several interesting historic sites and the Collier County Museum should be your first stop to find out about early settlers and Naples evolution to a world class vacation destination.

Boating is another favored recreational activity, as is fishing. Southwest Florida is home to some of the best fishing in the state.
