Nestled among the pines is your ''Island Escape'' on a private island in the Intra-coastal Waterway at Sarasota Bay, accessible only by boat. This light and airy home features scenic views from every room. Three levels of decks, a large vaulted-ceiling living room, a large dining room with sliding glass doors to a spacious deck with a grill at the ready. Here you will experience the most beautiful sunrises and changing colors of the bay every morning. The home comfortably accommodates 8 people in 3 bedrooms and a bonus room with king, queen, twin beds and queen hide-a-bed and futons.
This inviting home has large rooms, a fully-equipped open view kitchen with all appliances - micro, dishwasher, disposal, washer, dryer, new HDTV, CD & casette player, board games, cards, etc. for entertainment. The lower level covered deck is great for lunch while sunbathing and swimming.

Not easily, since you must climb in and out of boat at lowtide, climb 1 flight of stairs to reach main level, then a 2nd flight to reach bedroom level (altho there is now a bdm & 1/2 bath on main level).

Boat lift at private dock. You can catch fish right from the dock!! Kayak, canoe, snorkling equipment included for fun; even paths along island for exploring. Be alert and catch sight of dolphins feeding across from the dock, manatees swimming by with a calf, or many types of birds flying or nesting nearby. This is a great chance to ''get away from it all'' and get back to nature.
If you do not have a boat there are pontoon boats available to rent nearby, or you might enjoy the freedom of using one of a half dozen water taxis ready to pick you up and bring you back by appointment!
