Everything is provided, including linens and bath towels for 9 guests,a well appointed kitchen, dining room, outdoor dining, Wi-Fi Cable Internet & TV, home entertainment center, 3 TVs (LR, MBR, & den), gas grill, large wooden deck, beach and yard chairs & recreational ammenities. Fans and an AC in each bedroom. Sleeps 3 couples and 4 children comfortably.
Seasonal raspberries, peaches, and wild blueberries on the property for the picking.
The Nature Conservancy recently acquired easements and expanded hiking trails from their Hoft Farm property at Duarte's Pond just around the corner, 10th of a mile, from our house. You can enjoy the serenity of the three linked ponds (former cranberry ponds) that feed a brook running across our property or you can hike for miles through a linked trail network.
Energy Efficient Vacation! Our commitment to reducing the house carbon footprint continues. We took a big step in 2009, replacing our oil heat/hot water system with propane and a 96% efficient condensing boiler. This allowed us to switch to gas cooking at the same time! We have added dimmable compact flourescent ceiling lights and added insulation and air sealing. In 2010, we begin purchasing 100% renewably-generated electricity from our utility. In spite of these improvements, our peak-season prices have not gone up for several years. More information available upon request.
