Renovated, charming cottage in North Truro. Set back from the road in a private setting, this sunny cottage offers 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths.

French doors open the living/dining area onto a large deck in the back, bringing the outdoors inside. Sip your morning coffee overlooking meadow, trees, and songbirds. Or laze on the hammock while grilling dinner at sunset.

If you want an ocean visit, the outstanding Coast Guard Beach is a 5 minute drive (Highland Lighthouse - the oldest on the Cape –is a great quick nighttime excursion). We occasionally see whales spouting from the beach! 8 miles to Provincetown.

    A Great Stay!

We had a great stay at this cottage. It is true to the photos and the main room, the room with the couch and dining room table - is bright and feels relatively spacious. A nice breeze blows through the room when the back doors to the deck are open. We were a family of four and everyone was comfortable in their respective rooms. The photos on this page show a grill on the back deck. That grill has been replaced with a nice, new Weber. It's a short drive to Cold Storage Beach. (And if haven't stayed in Truro before, all of Truro is short drive to the best beaches on the Cape. Corn Hill, Cold Storage, Coast Guard, Head of the Meadow, Longnook, Ballston - the number of truly beautiful beaches in Truro is ridiculous.) We would stay in the cottage again for sure. It is simple, comfortable, with artsy touches - exactly what a cottage in Truro should be in my opinion. show more show less

Just perfect for us... and for the third time!!

What a pleasure it has been for us to discover, and then return twice to this cottage!!! Right away, we felt at home, with the open setup, the French doors staying constantly open, the neat yet functional kitchen, and the cozy upstairs bedroom!!

With the blueberries in the back, the daily visits from the rabbits and the evening visits from Todd the toad, a constant breeze, and the abundance of birdsong from morning to evening, it is the perfect cottage to wake up in and to leave for the beach, simply to return and rest after a solid day of sun and surf at Head of the Meadow.

We have returned twice (in 2013 and 2015) and have found the same welcoming, homey feeling within minutes of our arrival. And after the two weeks' stay, it has always been heartbreaking toi have to leave.

We'll most certainly be back in 2016!!!

    Priest Road Perfection

We have stayed at Priest Road for 7 years out of the last ten in Truro and have loved every year. The house is situated very nicely with good afternoon sun and also it feel very private. While a small house, it manages a family of five very easily. The open floor plan and back deck are great for family activities: dinners, cocktails, games, inside or out. All beaches are an easy drive, and in the evening it is a great Cape walk to the beach with few cars, nice views and classic Cape houses to look at. Very relaxing. A small treasure in North Truro. Wifi addition was a great. show more show less

    Charming cottage

This was a lovely cottage with so many great details. The location was private and up high enough that we had beautiful breezes the whole time. The deck was ample with a great outdoor shower and a hammock. The living space was perfect for 2 couples, with plenty of space for private moments and comfortable shared space. Lovely touches throughout with artwork and built ins. Excellent location with easy access to bay beaches and Provincetown.

Hi! My name is Amy, and I own this cottage with my siblings. We have been vacationing on the Cape our whole lives. We love the Cape, and the time we get to spend here.

About me- I'm a professor (biology) at a small college in the midwest, tied to a school schedule until finals are over and the grades are in. Then I head to the cottage and spend a month or so there, getting it ready for the rental season and catching up with family and friends.

What is special about this property?
What I love about the cottage: it is a cute and classic older Cape cottage (but updated), and feels ''tucked away'' and a bit private. AND I can walk to the beach. The location is great- equidistant to Provincetown and Wellfleet, and near both bay and oceanside beaches.

Our cottage is essentially recycled: we had it moved from a beach front site, where it was due to be ''scraped off '' and added to the landfill, so that the new owners of that site could put up something larger.

What is special about your town?
Great beaches, and they are relatively empty compared to the beaches of neighboring towns. Truro is a lot less developed than neighboring towns- there is more space between houses, and more wildlife. More quiet. More peaceful. Yet the neighboring towns are both relatively close.

This part of the Cape is only 2 miles wide- you are always near the ocean!
