The main house, perfect for entertaining families and friends, has two full baths and features sweeping views of the ocean from the living room, Nantucket Sun Porch, kitchen, and 3 bedrooms. The 2 adjacent cottages each have ocean views from the combination great room, kitchen, and dining areas, and feature 2 bedrooms and a full bath each. The compound has a total of 5 additional sleep sofas located in the living/great rooms among the three cottages adding flexibility for extra guests. This family friendly property is ideal whether you enjoy relaxing and lounging or spending time swimming and playing water sports on its sandy, safe, warm water beach. A superb opportunity for friends and families to vacation together offering closeness and privacy.Plenty of shopping, restaurants, children's entertainment, theaters, golf, biking, and fishing are nearby. Teach your children how to cast for blues and stripers from your beach, rent a local charter boat, or visit the Islands on a day trip. Professionally cleaned and caringly maintained for your carefree enjoyment. Newly renovated and nautically decorated with sensitivity to the unique charm of Cape Cod's South Beach.
The main house has wood floors throughout and an open kitchen, dining, and living room. The living room opens onto the Nantucket Porch with a large slider, doubling the size of the living room for ease in entertaining. The Nantucket Porch has a wicker lounge set and a matching dining area, great for peacefully eating breakast in the morning, watching the ocean, or playing cards at night with friends. There are three lovely decorated bedrooms upstairs, one room has a full bed and the other two rooms have sets of twins each (sleeps six in bedrooms). There are two new full baths, one off the kitchen downstairs and one upstairs. There is also an outdoor shower so you can rinse off after bathing.
Each of the two cottages can accommodate a family and has two bedrooms, one room has a full bed, and the other room has sets of twins (sleeps four in bedrooms).
For additonal overnight guests, the main house has a queen size sleep sofa in the living room. The cottages have two twin size sleep sofas in the great rooms.
We supply bedspreads, blankets, and pillows. The kitchens are fully applianced with gourmet cookware and plenty of dinnerware for barbecues and entertaining. Parking is available for six cars maximum.
Directions: from Rte 6, exit 9A to Rte 134 (South to Dennisport), left at third lights onto Rte 28 (east), second right onto Shad Hole Road, bear right onto Oak Street, right onto Old Wharf Road, second left at Ocean Grove South Circle (stone wall entrance), straight onto Skipper's Way to ocean, property is last right on water (253 Old Wharf Road). |
