n sets, or sharing meals on the back deck under a market umbrella, you're sure to find a bit of heaven here. When not enjoying the house, Sconset Village is just a 5-minute walk away with the Sconset Market, small wine store, post-office and restaurants ranging from an upscale outdoor bar on the beach (the Summer House), to fine dining (Sconset Cafe; Chanticleer). Movies play regularly at the old Sconset Casino, which dates to late 1800's.
To get into Nantucket town (7 miles away) with shopping, historical sites, ferries, restaurants, etc. you don't need a car. The bus runs regularly from Sconset with three bus routes and a $2 fare each way. There are also two paved, off-road bike paths connecting Sconset to town: Milestone Road and Polpis Road bike paths.
