Located just a seven to 10 minute walk from the shopping and dining of downtown Nantucket, ACK Bound is a peaceful respite from the crowds of town on warm summer nights. Offering year-round accommodations and off-street parking for two vehicles, this 1920's vintage former bed and breakfast is a perfect combination of Nantucket rustic and modern conveniences.
Walking through the front door you enter the sunny, window-filled, 28 foot-wide porch, a great place to enjoy morning coffee, cocktails, or just the island breezes on warm summer evenings. Enter the large living room that flows into the dining room highlighted by a wood-burning fireplace. Behind the dining room is a 2005-remodeled kitchen with a gas range, Silestone countertops and a large breakfast bar. The main level features 3 cozy bedrooms and 2 full baths. Added in 2008 is a lovely outdoor shower. Added in 2009 - entire new upstairs area.

Upper Level – completed in 2009
Enjoy watching the sunset on the Juliet balcony, off the new back bedroom. Enjoy soaking in the master bath tub. The new master bedroom has a king size bed, and the second bedroom has a queen bed. The sitting room between the bedrooms has a media center with a flat screen TV. You can enjoy gettiing away from it all upstairs. The cork flooring allows for quiet comfort.
Lower Level
The lower level is home to two large sleeping rooms. The ''peach'' room has a queen bed, two closets, and new cork flooring. The ''green'' room has new twin beds with neutral Berber carpeting. There is a quiet TV room, which also has a trundle bed. The deep window wells let in a surprising amount of light and air. Kids especially like the subterranean feel of the lower level. The bathrooms were remodeled in 2008. And the “peach room” was remodeled and expanded in 2009.
ACK Bound also has easy access to bike paths (only one block from the Madaket and Dionis bike path) and is two blocks to the Maria Mitchell (first US woman astronomer) house.
With its great location, ACK Bound is a perfect place for large family gatherings or for those traveling for weddings, reunions and/or for fun and relaxation. For more info, see their private website.
